Comments: Our trip to puerto started off bad, finding out that our hotel we were told to stay at was a nasty two star hotel. Two hours later we checked into the sheraton, and a day later become timeshare holders to this hotel. Both the suite, and normal hotel rooms were great! Great location, great staff, great hotel in general. This hotel is a \"must stay at\" hotel.

Comments: Stayed at the Sheraton for 7 nights in February 2005. This is a very clean hotel and the employees are very nice, attentive and helpful. Was very easy to get around from the hotel as the bus stops right out in front or a taxi seems to be always waiting to take you away. You could walk but it would be quite a walk. We had the balcony room and it was just like the picture you see only better. Very clean with a wonderful view of the pool and ocean. The sunsets from the balcony were wonderful. The only complaint we had was that there were no coffee in the rooms and you had to go to the restaurant and pay for coffee in the morning. Also the mini bar is locked and you must find a key if you want to use it although prices for items were very high. They also are interested in selling time shares but a No thank you seemed to work well. We visited other hotels while in Puerto Vallarta and the Sheraton seemed to be one of the cleanest we saw and we will definitely go back there.

Comments: The sheraton was great. Its great because you are so close to the downtown that you can walk. If you need a taxi they are right there waiting. The games they have are fun and offer salsa lessons. They have pool volleyball but its mostly older men who are very good. the staff is friendly and if you dont want to be bugged by the timeshare people do not go ask for a map of the hotel. just stay away from the side desk. But a very relaxing place and the pool is awesome.
