I took a group to Club viva Vallarta in March. It is an all-inclusive
resort that just opened in Dec. It was fantastic. The food & entertainment
was 1st class!!!! It is about an hour from town but well worth it. I would
recommend this property to everyone. I AM PLANNING MY HONEYMOON IN OCT AND WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF ANYBODY
HAD ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT ABOUT $2000 WITH AIRFARE. IS
ALL-INCLUSIVE THE BEST WAY TO GO? Can you tell me what the weather is like in Vallarta during August? Looking for information on the Royal Decameron hotel in nuevo vallarta.
Has anybody been there recently and what did you think. I've booked a trip
for the middle of May. Thanks for any input you might have. They don't call it rainy season for nothing! I wouldn't go to PV in Sept,
Oct or Nov. The weather is best in Jan,Feb and March. Okay Mark and I have decided to stay at Allegro "The Diamond" Nuevo Vallarta
(right beside the Sierra, where we wanted to stay first) for our honeymoon,
in September, because we'll save almost $300.00 each doing so. Any thoughts?
Has anyone stayed here, we'd appreciate your comments. My fiance and I, who met in Puerto Vallarta in January of 98, are returning
there to get married in December. We have been there numerous times, but are
in need of some advice regarding reception sites. Does anyone have any information
on this? We would love to book a place where we could cater the meal ourselves,
but a restaurant or hotel would also work. Thanks! solamente se que amo a puerto vallarta, fui para alla esta semana santa
y me la pase super bien, agradesco al gobierno de puerto vellarta por hacer
que asi permanesca este lugar que es hermoso. Travelling to PV Oct. 7-21 and staying at the Sun Club Continental Plaza.
Would appreciate any information about the RESORT, WEATHER, and travelling
with CHILDREN (AGES 1&2). Has anyone tried there child care? Is a car rental
neccesary with the location of this resort. ANY INFO WOULD BE A GREAT HELP-GOOD
OR BAD Thanks a million As much as I love Puerto Vallarta, just wanted to give anyone who is
planning to travel in early September a warning about the weather. My friends
and I went about the 5th of September 99 and it rained from the time we got
arrived until we left. There was no sun, we didn't go in the ocean (too strong),
swam once in the hotel pool, shopped in the rain, and went out in the rain.
It was warm just verrry wet. It might be different this year but I won't be
back during rainy season to find out! Looking forward to a fabulous first time trip to P.V. in one week. A
group of us are staying at the Blue Bay Club. Has anyone ever stayed there
or seen it. We choose to go All-Inclusive for our first trip hoping to be
able to explore. Any info on these Blue Bay resorts (Club and Village) would
be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch! Maurine Hello, my Fiance and I are planning on booking at the Sierra Neuvo Vallarta
for September (our honeymoon) would appreciate all comments, good and bad...What's
the weather like in PV around Sept 10-17? Dying for information, I've never
been on a trip before, please help... Looking for nice all inclusive in PV. Any comments on Club Marval or
Crown paradise? We are mid 30's couple, would we be better off not going all
inclusive? IF ANYONE WANTS A MASSAGE, BODY TREATMENTS, FACIALS, OR GET IN A SWEAT
LODGE CONTACT ME. WE HAVE A WONDERFUL SPA, ART AND HEALING CENTER IN TOP OF
THE MOUNTAIN IN AN EXOTIC LOCATION. PHONE IN PV 22 25400. HAVE A NICE TRIP¡¡¡¡¡¡ HI ANYONE THAT WANTS MASSAGE, BODYTREATMENTS, FACIALS, OR SWEAT LODGE

SHE IS PLANNING A WONDERFUL EXPIRIENCE IN PV A DIFFERENT TRIP TO VALLARTA.
IF YOU WANT HER EMAIL LET ME KNOW. SHE LIVES IN CANADA. I'm planning two weeks vacations @ PV (may 1-12th )and I want to find
some nice, sunny and near to the beach hotel, more-less $30 dlls. Does anyone
has any idea or reccomendation for me? I would appreciate it so much!! Has anyone ever stayed at the Jolla de Mismaloya Suites?? HOLA! YO SOY RESIDENTE DE PVR, Y ME CAUSA GRAN ALEGRIA TODOS LOS COMENTARIOS
QUE EN ESTE SITE ENCONTRE, ME ALEGRA QUE A TODAS AQUELLAS PERSONAS QUE YA
CONOCEN PVR, SE LA HALLAN PASADO DE MARAVILLA Y SOBRE TODO QUE DESEEN REGRESAR
ALGUN DIA. TODOS AQUI LES ESPERAREMOS CON UN GRAN ESPIRITU DE SERVICIO Y SOBRE
TODO CON LAS GANAS DE PODER SERVIRLES AN ALGO. PVR ES GRANDIOSO! Y ESTOY DE
ACUERDO CON TODAS AQUELLAS PERSONAS QUE PIENSAN QUE PVR ES EL PARAISO. ADIOS,
ESPERO PODER SERVIRLES EN ALGO POR ESTE MEDIO, O CUANDO ESTEN POR ACA. GRACIAS
Y BIENVENIDOS. Just got back from PV. Stayed at the Tropicana (4 nights) and then on
to the Hotel Rio (last 3 nights). Tropicana was great and reasonably priced
for an oceanview room. The beach was nice and so was the bar just down from
our hotel (Burro's Bar). Reasonable prices as well. One warning: be careful
of the people selling timeshares. They act as though they are just wanting
to be helpful in directions, but want you to take a tour of their hotel. That's
fine as well, but they can be "very pushy" once you've had your tour and finally
sit down to hear the $ figure. Once you say "no" to their prices they can
be not so friendly. Just a word of advice. Otherwise, we had a great time
in PV and can't wait to go again. The weather was great!!! My fiance and I are planning on getting married in PV March, 2001. We
are bringing along approx.50 people and would like to have a small reception.
Any suggestions for hotels that do great weddings??!! Making a return voyage to PV (i.e.: Heaven on Earth) early October. Thinking
of staying at the Hotel Yasmin on Basilio Badillo. Anyone with any info or
who has stayed there recently, e-mail me. I am looking into other places too,
but have narrowed it down, and this hotel I know very little about. Any info
is greatly appreciated!! My family and I are thinking about going to P.V. in August and staying
at the Allegro Resort Nuevo Vallarta. It looks real nice, but would love to
hear from anyone who has stayed there. Thanks! This is a very nice place ! My friend and I booked a week at the Royal Decamreon Tropical. Does anyone
have any info on this hotel? Anything about the food, grounds, rooms etc. would
be appreciated. Hows the nightlife? FELICITACIONES POR SU PAGINA. ME HA ENCANTADO, MAS BIEN NOS HA ENCANTADO
SU PAGINA, TANTO QUE EN VACIONES DE SEMANA SANTA QUEREMOS IR. ESPEREAMOS ENCONTRAR
POR ALLA A NUESTROS PRINCIPES AZULES, YA QUE NOS HAN DICHO QUE HAYAN ESTAN
HASTA PRONTO!!! aLICIA Y MAGO We are renting a timeshare over Easter- Royal Yacht Club in Marina Vallarata-
sound wonderful- anyone stayed there? And of course, anything I should know
for fun (6- 25yr old)? Good food ? We leaving this saturday (April 8) for PV; Will be staying atWestin Regina
Hotel. Any information on this Hotel (accomodation, restaurant, night shows)?
Suggestion of good restaurants in town and Tours would be appreciated. Please
e-mail infos - Thanks! Just booked a trip to Eden Resort Sunset Bay for a week and have never
been to PV , let alone Eden Resort......would really appreciate any comments
or suggestions.. Thanks Just had a few moments to write since our return from PV. Had a wonderful
time;-)!! Stayed @ the Mayan Palace in Nuevo 3/19-3/26. A little futher away
from town, 110 pesos to Centro, 80p to Marina, but once you figure out the
bus system it was easy getting around & less expensive too! Were nabbed by
Sun Club as soon as we got off the plane, so for 90 mins. of our time, a $30
deposit which we got back after the tour, we got cab ride to our resort, cab
ride to their resort the next day, breakfast, a tour of the Continental Plaza
with a little attitude (don't need to buy,very generous parents:-), & 1/2
off ANY tours we were interested in taking. Should have done more tours but
enjoyed the ones we did. Took the Tropical Tour, which gave us a good idea
of the layout of the area, a chance to shop a little, lunch a the riverside
rest. & Yelapa Beach that was one of the best days we spent just laying around
on the beach, soaking up the sun. relaxing & drinking. If you go here don't
purchase your meal as part of the package, we found the selection (3 choices)
to be limited and there were 4 or 5 rest. to pick from on the beach. We ate
at Mr. Marlin's. Three of us had a wonderful meal with drinks included for
less than $15. Beers were 30 pesos. PV is all in what you make it. It can
be loud & rowdy or it can be quite & relaxing. If any one would like more
information just e-mail me & I'll get back to you. each. Found a wonderful
rest in the Marina Las Palamos (downtown too) the only place we ate twice.
Wasn't sure there was really going to be a rest. up that very steep hill but
Ah Carumba!! had an awesome view of PV at night, food was good too & plenty
of it! Found Carlos O'Brien's one afternoon & returned that evening for more
drinks & dancing on the tables. The crowd had a good mix of ages (we are m47,f37
& f34) but because it was Spring Break there were plenty of college students.
I work at a University but I didn't see any SRU students there!! Sorry, I have a slow computer - didn't mean to post it three times! Leaving for PV in 6 days, any info on what to do for 4 young adults (21-25)
would be greatly appreciated. Staying at Vellas Vallarta. Thanks. Leaving for PV in 6 days, any info on what to do for 4 young adults (21-25)

trip down and still get just as excited as the 1st.We always stay at the PlayaLosArcos
Hotel and would recomend it to anyone who wants to stay in a very clean, secure

for 11 March for one week... Please advise Iwould like information how to rent R. V. campground close to the city
of Puerto Vallarto for two months next year. P.Vachon I would like information how to rent r.v. park close to the city of Puerto
Vallarta for two months next year. Me encanta Puerto Vallarta. Me encantaria que me hablaran de este bello
lugar. I have been to PVR 3 times and have more fun each time I go. The only
place I have ever stayed is the Velas Vallarta but looking into other hotels
this had the largest rooms and allowed 6 adults to a room.(2 bd rm ste) The
Velas has rooms with full size bedrooms, kitchenand living room. This is very
good with 6 girls having to get ready for the night life. Our favorite night
spot was the ZOO!!!!! It played great music and was full every night we were
there. The staff was so nice we even had a reserved table! As far as restaruants
we had a nice dinner at Pipi's. It has the best fajitas in town and watch
out for the margaritas, there are very very strong, but tastey! In the restaraunt
there is a Marichi band and someone to take your picture and make guacamole
right at your table. It must have costed 8 USD for a full meal. i would suggest
trying it. If you are looking for a nicer place to eat, Daquiri Dicks is very
nice with great food also. It is a little more expensive but has a wonderful
view of the beach form your table. Overall, I have had many good experiences
in PVR and plan on going again Very Very soon. Now can anyone tell me about
the Marriott Casamagna? That is where we have chosen to stay this time and
I know little about it. Any details would be appreciated! Thanks!!!! Hello my boyfriend and I are going to nuevo vallarta and will stay at

Thanks in advance Daryl and family. Thanks for everything! Have gone into the chat room a few times and have always been the only
person in there. Too bad:( I found this site to be helpful only if all you
want to do is read other people's remarks or if you e-mail someone direct.
I have put out two requests for information, one in January and the other
yesterday and have not received a response to either. When I e-mailed someone
who had asked for info before their trip, she got right back to me and was
very helpful. It's too bad this site doesn't have a resident expert who could
answer most questions. I found a site for Cancun that was much more responsive
and questions were usually answered by more than one person. We will be in
Nuevo Vallarta the week of March 19-26 and I will put an update on how we
enjoyed the area when we return and if anyone wants info they can e-mail me
directly and I will be sure to get back to you. Does anyone ever go in the chat room?? Maybe this sight could organize
a weekly session or something? Just made reservations(before we found this site) at the Melia Puerto
Vallarta Six of us are making the trip for the first time March 23...I don't
see any remarks about this resort. Anyone have any information? Going to PV Mar 19-26. Staying at the Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta. Can anyone
provide any info about this resort. Stayed at the Mayan in Acapulco in 1995
and it was great. Also interested in places to go and things to do. Any comments

in the hotel Velas Vallarta. Does anyone have any comments/information about
this hotel? Have timeshare at the Sun Club/Continental Plaza. Does anyone have any
information to provide on the quality, location, activities, etc. Thanks. Thinking of returning to PV at Christmas 2000 with our married daughter;
son-in-law & 21 yr old son. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where we should
stay? We are thinking a condo would be the most economical but don't know
the areas that condos are located. Only other trip to PV was last November
& we stayed at an all-inclusive. Loved the place & would like to share our
experience with the rest of our family. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. I am relocating to puerto vallarta in 3 weeks and I have yet to find
a website that provides pv's local newpapers. I need to find a place to live
in pv and would like to secure that now. I have been to vallarta today's website

the best place to stay...re: 4star or better properties, convenient locations
etc. ...any feedback will be appreciated..i will be visiting in may. Puerto vallarta is the best place to visit. The people are nice. The
city is beautiful. There are so many things to do in town and on the outskirts
of town. We have been going to PV for about 8 years. Felipe's on the south end
of town is our favorite. it is up in the hills overlooking the city. All the
taxi drivers know where it is. We also love Viejo Vallarta on the malecon
and Roberto's on Restaurant Row. We eat at new places every year and have
never been disappointed. Have a great time! Hola Amigos ! My wife and i and 5 other couples have just got back from
Nuevo-Vallarta and stayed at the Club Marival-all inclusive resort. Imust
say that the motel ,the food , and the staff were all very great. I must also
say the weather is absolutely fabulous! I would highly recommend this resort
to anyone. Also, chicos dive shop downtown p uerto-vallarta has dune buggies
and puts on one hell of a good time! It is worth every penny you spend. downtown
P-V is approximately 15 minutes from club marival by taxi and costs approximately
120 pesos or about14 dollars U.S. We also ate off the resort at Le-Kliff and
the view is like no other in the world! The food is incredible and the drinks
are cold and the sunset is breathtaking! I highly recommend anyone planning
a trip to Puerto- Vallarta to consider Club Marival. The animation crew that
does the nightly and daily activities are great! Can't say enough .......ENJOY
! I need to know today. I am trying to book a vation at punta arena but
would like to know if the villas are walk distance from downtown. 15 20 min
walk? also can you email me a detail map of this area. i wouold appreciate it if anyone can provide information on the playa
los arcos hotel and posada de roger in puerto vallarta. are these good places
to stay in? and also, what's the best happy hour bar there? alguien me puede
hacer el favor de mandarme informacion sobre los hoteles playa los arcos y
posada de roger en puerto vallarta...y tambien pueden recomendar un buen bar

the Meza del Mar and this year we are going to the San Marino Plaza Hotel.
Does anyone have any information about them? Good or bad, I would appreciate
hearing about the place. What is the weather like in April? Any good restrurants
reccommendations? Hi I would like to receive an official travel guide for Puerto Vallarta
taht has general infor about the place . You may send it to me atthe following
address Joki Canadas 4263 Forestbrook Dr Liverpool, NY 13090 Thank you Joki I am looking for feedback on the following hotels: Hotel Buenaventura,
Playa Los Arcos, Los Tules and Holiday Inn. Both good and bad Please We are staying at a private villa, Casa Guillermo in November. This is
located in the Conchas Chinas area. We are trying to find out the name of
the hotel or condominium located directly behind (East) of the house. We have
some friends who want to come down at the same time, and there is not enough
room in the house. We thought that the rental next door would be the solution,
but we don't know the name of it. On one side of Casa Guillermo is Club Alexander
(to the south). This rental that we are interested in, is just behind the
house. If anyone knows the name, we would be grateful for that information.
Thanks Lauri We just came back from a two week vacation in PV, it was our first time
there and we LOVED IT !!! Truely a great experience !! We stayed at LaJolla
Dimismaloya and thought it was perfect, very clean, friendly, great views,
lots to do for all ages and easy to get into downtown (there is a bus stop
right outside the front entrance, for 3 1/2 peso it'll take you right downtown
PV) For the hell of it we checked out a couple of other south and north side
hotels we had originally considered staying at, LaJolla had them all beat,
hands down. Don't miss eating at the Panarama and plan to go there around
sunset. The food and service was as good if not better than most places here
in the Chicago area. Anyone going there for the first time, guareenteed you
will have a great time, we are actually thinking of going back in a couple
of months to look for more permenant housing! Please recommend outstanding restaurants in PV. What are the best
places for great night life? Can anyone give me any information on Neuvo Vallarta? What's it like?
Plenty to do? etc. etc. Thanks Hey :) I'm going to the ROYAL DECAMERON TROPICAL in March....Like the
lady below I was just wondering if anyone has been there, and what it's like??
(good and bad, please!!) Please send me an email!! Thanks!:) My husband and I taking first trip ever to PV. Late 40's. Any ideas?
Looking for restaurants, and things to do. Husband avid fisherman. Staying
at Plaza Las Glorias. going to ROYAL DECAMERON TROPICAL in first of May, anyone been there?
Any info please good or bad...hermanmn@mnsi.net WE GOING TO CLUB VIVA VALLARTA ON FEB 12 TO 19.PLEASE TELL ME MORE ABOUT
THIS BRAND NEW HOTEL. Does anyone by chance know how to register so i can utalize all of this
program? I have noticed that you need a password and user name for commplete
access. Thanks for your help. Mike And thank you Vickie for the information!! We along with some friends are headed back to the Sierra Nuevo for the
second year in a row. The hotel is marvelous and the staff friendly. We found
PV safe and easy to get around. stay away from the timeshares. We highly recommend
the hotel. I'm going to PV in mid-February and I'm looking for a hotel, probably
in town/Old Vallarta that's not too expensive, probably under $100 US. So
many places look good on the web but I wondered if anyone had any personal
recommendations. Thanks! This is for Mike P. who is looking for info on moving/working in Mexico.
Try the following website. It offers a lot of information about moving to
Mexico. www.mexconnect.com/wwwboard/index.html I was wundering if i could get any information about starting a business,
and moving there. I have going there with my parents for about 10 years now.
I would really like some information about it if possible. I will be going
down there again Febuary 25 to March 16, 2000. Thank you . I am looking for a restaurant called "Le Club" in P.V. Anyone ever heard
of it? Let me know. Thanks My husband and I will be making our first trip in March...decided to
go all inclusive for our first time. Can anyone recommend either Sierra Nuevo
or Presidente Inter-Continental??? We want to spend our evenings at the hotel
for the most part and will need something to do. The "Presidente" seems a
little more out of the way...any nightlife there? Thanks! Love Puerto Vallarta have been visiting for years. Have started a website
business with a focal point of PV. See www.brdwd.com/dining. See other PV
links off our web design business site: www.brdwd.com Check with our satisfied
customers. Want to go "birding" while in PV in Feb. any suggestions? We have 8 adults heading to PV for the first time the end of January.
It will be a combination of married and singles. We are interested in information
about restaurants and sites to see. Would like names of quaint eateries and
clubs recommended by the locals. My dad likes to do things a little out of
the ordinary so sites to see that may not be typical tourist fare would also
be helpful. We would like to go on a day cruise or some type of excursion.
Recommedations? Any that will take you to an isolated beach to spend some
time? Shopping recommendations? I love pottery. Any ideas or suggestions would
be appreciated. Three couples heading to PV Feb 5,2000 looking for suggested rest. and
activities. We all have been to Mexico many times but not PV. Men like to
fish and all like to party and dance. Love to explore out of the way places
to experience the country. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
- Stan Planning a trip to Mexico in March 2000. Husband and friends have not
yet decided between PV or Cancun. If PV we would stay at the Mayan Palace.
Can anyone who has been to this resort provide me with some feedback? In 1995
we went to Acapulco and stayed at the Mayan Palace there and it was GREAT!!
General info on the areas would also be appreciated. Thanks. I'm looking at staying at the Club Viva Vallarta in early Feb. Any info
on this resort would be very much appreciated. I'd like to know what to expect. Going to PV 4/00.We are staying at Sierra Nuevo.Wondering about how the
food is and if there is a snorkeling beach near by? My husband and I are planning a trip in mid-March to PV. We were wondering
if anyone could give us info. on reasonably priced hotels ($70Cdn/nt) in PV.
Also, does anyone know anything about Tropicana Hotel's rates? I have emailed
several times with no reply. I would appreciate any info. on PV. Thanks!!! We're going to PV mid July- are thinking of staying at the Casa Magna.
I would like comments on hotel and/or suggestions. We have 2 families -w/6
kids 7 to 21, is there something for everyone? Any night life for kids 18-21?
Can you swim in the beach there at the hotel. Any suggestions for all ages
would be great, activities - reasonable priced places to eat, night life,
etc. Thanks! Or is it better to be downtown? Am going to PV in February, and am looking for information on day trips
outside of PV. What is close, better to rent a car - try a taxi, or a bus? Hi all, my girlfriend and I have travelled to P.V. 4 times since our
first trip in Feb. of 98. We fell in love with the place, it has something
to do for everybody and the weather is wonderful October through May. We stay
at La Jolla de Mismaloya tower 2 on the beach end and love it. We highly recommend
it. Romantic evenings, hammocks on the beach, palapas and tequila, lots of
fun. You have to rent a jeep though it's 40 minutes to the south but worth
the drive. Best, most beautiful part of the Bay of Banderas. The los Arcos
formations are there and also "The sets of the Night of the Iguna" are now
restaraunts at the Hotel on the cliffs over looking the Mismaloya beach and
Los Arcos! Yes it has it's own private beach! Protected by hills on either
side! A short boat ride to the towns of Yelapa and Oaxa! Great restaraunts
i.e. Le Kliff, Cafe de Artist, Chef Rogers. The malecon, Zoo Bar! We always
meet fun people and keep in touch with them long after the trip (Will and
Sandy if you ever see this "escuche") Were going back in March and I find
myself counting the days, surfing the web for everything and anything P.V.
We love it! going to marina de oro jan 15th on rci trade. has anyone been there?
comments? should we do all inclusive? thanks Has anyone ever stayed at the Sheraton Buganvillas? How was it? Is it
expensive? My family is planning to travel to P. V in mid July. I have an 8 year
old and a 4 year old. I am particularly interested in any comments/information
that would make this trip the best possible for all of us--day and evening
activities, family restaurants, and recommendations for accomodations. The
all inclusives sound tempting, but sometimes a really nice, smaller hotel
will treat a family with a little extra tender loving care. Appreciate any
tips! I just got back from PV. I stayed at the Costa Allegre. It was great
except for one worker there. I did snorkelling, diving, parasailing, went
to the bullfights, archery, swimming, tanning, eating. We met a cab driver
that told us to ask the locals where the best spots where, so we did. I had
a total blast, made some solid freinships with some local people there.I highly
recomed, Thr Roxy, Chavas restaurant, NOT going all inclusive, get out and
experience the diners there, Mariachi Loco. There is way too much to tell.
I met a couple of local people that took us around, went dancing with us,
taught us more words in spanish not to mention the dance steps, they told
us all about Mexicos history, the states, they were enthusiastic guides, even
slept on the beach with us our last nite there! Anyone who is interested in
my stories or more rocommendations, email me please. PV put an excellent New
Years celebration as well. I met tons of people from all over the world. There
is so much about PV and its people that I couldnt write it if I tried, I loved
it so much I am considering relocating there, and because one of the men I
met turned out to be the man of my dreams. I loved it completely. Regards,

Any feedback on the place, what else to do, would be appreciated. This is
our very first visit to Mexico and hopefully not our last! Our boys are 21
and 19 -- any ideas for them? Thanks! Hi! I will be going to PV in Early May, and staying at the Mayan Palace.
If anyone has info or tips about it, let me know!! Thanks Hi! I will be travelling to P.V. for the third time. I am looking for
a room for six nights and would like something extremely inexpensive $10.00
to $ 15.00 USD per night can anyone help? I am planning a trip to PV in June. Can anyone mail me with good hotels
(all inclusive) and details of any good fishing skippers. We plan on visiting Puerto Vallarta for the first time in Feb. However,
the hotel that we plan on staying at does not provide much information on
itself. If anyone could relay any info(good or bad) on the hotel, Puerta Vallarta
Beach, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!! We are getting out of the cold in mid Feb. I've been to PV in June and
September and loved every minute of it.... June and Sept were HOT....let me
know what to wear in February. Puerta Vallarta..what a beautiful and romantic
city. We are going to PV in Jan., staying at the Eden Sunset Bay Resort. Anyone
stayed there, did you like it? This is my 4th trip to Mexico, LOVE IT!!!! I have received several replys to my queries re PV, thanks to everyone
for the usefull info. We will be going in about 6 weeks and are getting very
excited. Any comments about your favourite inexpensive restaurants? We are
thinking about renting a car for a day, is this a good idea? We are wondering
about the money, should we rely on the ATM,are they everywhere? Should we
take traveller's cheques (Canadian or American). Which boat cruises to Yelapa
are the most economical. Please email me with any of your do's and don'ts.
I thank you in advance for taking the time to reply. Linda Just booked a last minute air-only to PV Jan. 7-10....and most of the
good hotels are booked. Looking for ideas, help, potential condo or villa
sharers....ASAP!!! Just came back from PV on December 26. We stayed at Vellas Vallarta.
What a wonderfull place, I would recommend it to anyone.Tons of activities
if you want or relax if you want. My husband and I, and our son had the best
week. Especially our son his 10 and he had the time of his life. We found
some great restaurants such as Pipi's ( great mexican food), La Dolce Veta
( the best Italian food).Go, you wont regret it. Will be staying at the Presidente Inter-Continental in March. Any info.
would be appreciated! I am looking for information on the Mayan Palace Resort as soon as possible
as I am considering going there next week. Would anyone recommend it or have
something negative to say??? Thanks! Just wanted to say that we were in Puerto Vallarta in November. We stayed
at Velas Vallarta Resort and I would highly recommend it. Beautiful property,
great service and lots to do all day & evening! It was wonderful! We are already

the year, not February. There are no local/regional elections in 2000 to the
best of my knowledge so you should be okay. We visited Mexico in February of this year and discovered that elections
were being held. During elections, the bars are alcohol free from midnight
Friday to midnight Sunday. We are returning to PV this February and want to
avoid any elections. Does anyone know if elections are being held in Feb.

Contact Info: (403) 273-3555 I find myself back in your wonderful website again and again in anticipation
of my upcoming trip. Just a new tidbit - the San Marino Plaza in Old Town
has now gone completely all-inclusive. For anyone interested in staying at
a beautiful and friendly hotel right on the beach, I seriously recommend this
one! The all-inclusive package is fantastic! 68 days from now, I will be back
in paradise. My family and I are considering staying at the Marbella Tropical Garden
Suites across the street from the Fiesta Americana (it has 2 bedroom suites,
suitable for a family), however because it is not beachfront we want close
access to the beach. I have heard that the Marbella has facility and beach
privledges with the Fiesta Americana, across the steeet, but it is very hard
to get an answer from emailing the Marbella or the travel agent. I am only
going on what someone who stayed there last year told me. I would like some
assurance that we would have access as it is just across the street. I have
heard from others that you can use any beach but the access through the hotels
to get to the beach is unclear. Does anyone have any info about this or who
I can contact? Thanks, Linda Does any anyone know how (or if) we can reserve two tickets to the Grand
Gala Dinner Pary on Feb. 19th. I've tried emailing our hotel (Velas Vallarta)
but haven't heard back from them. I'd appreciate any information! Thank You! Anybody know Nicole Martin who lives in PV, from Canada, and owns kids
clothing stores? Desperately trying to find her. Help!!!
Any information about the Meza del Mar would be appreciate.I'm planing
a trip in P"V in February. What should'nt I miss.Any suggestion will be appreciate. Hello, We are looking forward to our vacation in Puerto Vallarta in November.
Your web site has been most helpful in choosing a hotel (Velas Vallarta) and
in planning events during our stay (my husband and myself are both employed
in the food-service industry and are thrilled to be visiting during the Gourmet
Festival). In short, I would like to say that I have found your site very
informative and that we look forward to your hospitality!!! Lisa Shaw I'M THINKING OF STAYING AT HOTEL ROSITA OR HOTEL EL PESCADOR IN MARCH.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE OR COMMENTS ABOUT EITHER OF THESE TWO HOTELS? I wish Gloria Whiting, the owner of Los Cuatro Vientos Hotel in Puerto
Vallarta, would repay her long overdue debts. My family and I are embarking on our first trip to Mexico this February.
Of course we are researching different locations. We are leaning toward PV.
We are a family of 5, including a 20, 19 & 15 year olds. Accomodation is hard
to find for 5. We have heard from people that the nite life in PV is mostly
downtown and not so much in the hotel zone. We think we want to stay in this
zone. Whereas we heard that in Mazatlan the nite life is the best in the golden
zone and the beaches in that zone are protected by islands and therefore better
for swimming. I guess my concern is that if the kids have to take a bus to
the action all the time it may be to quiet in PV for them we also want to
be able to play in the surf without dangereous undertows. We want to make
sure we pick the the location that has something for all of us to make this
the best vacation ever. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks. I visited the Las Palmas 3 years ago and it was lovely. Like many other
hotels in Puerto Vallarta, the rooms are simple but very clean. The staff
was great and the food was good as well. Here's the downside, and it's only
minor. The showers were lukewarm (Could've been just our room I suppose).
The beach area is a bit small for the size of the resort and chairs were scarce.
If that's the worst I can say, that's pretty good. If you decide to go there,
have a great time --- we did.
I would appreciate any comments on the resort Las Palmas. My wife and
I are planning a trip in the spring. We are in our mid thirties. Is this a
suitable place for sand lovers and activity participants our age? i'm still looking for cheap (under us$25) single accomodations for myself
when i arrive jan 12th, ant recommendations? gracias Estoy llegando de Republica Dominicana y "Deseo regresar a puerto a Vallarta

Con seguridad estare alla en Noviembre. My fiance and I are planning on getting married in PV next year (Oct.
2000). We are planning a recon trip in Feb 2000. Can anyone recommend a good
church and/or hotel/condos? We expect to have about 50 attend. Any other tips
greatly appreciated!! would love some information on an all inclusive called "Vista Club Playa
De Oro" in PV. Thank you. We will be visiting Puerto Vallarta in January for the first time and
staying at the Royal Decameron Hotel. I haven't found it on your hotel list.
Where is it? Anything else you can tell me about it. Thanks. I will be visiting PV in November staying at the Velas Vallarta Hotel.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has stayed at the hotel, and
local restaurants, night life and excursions anyoune can recommend My husband and I are going on a cruise to P.V. from L.A. We will be spending
just one day in P.V., Dec. 1st. (the day before our 50th wedding anniversary).
I am in a wheelchair. Will that be a problem? I want to see as much as that
one day will allow. Any suggestions? I am SO EXCITED! This is also our first
cruise. What can we expect as to weather conditions in December? My husband and I will be going to PV in mid-October and staying at Crown
Paradise, all-inclusive, adult only resort. Does anyone have any feedback
on this resort? We are excited. Have never been to PV before and it is our
wedding anniversary. Can anyone recommend an all inclusive resort and how inclusive are they.
This may be the way to go with a family of 5. Comments please. Thanks. I JUST CAME BACK FROM PUERTO VALLARTA ON SEPTEMBER 20, 1999 WE STAYED
IN VELLAS VALLARTA HOTEL. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT . IT WAS MY FIRST VISIT

this hotel will be appreciate. Sorry about my english... just doing the best
I can. Rémi On my first visit to this site I enjoyed reading the comments. My family
of 5 is planning our first trip to PV in Feb. There seem to be so many accomodations
to choose from. However accomodating 5 comfortably on a limited budget may
be a challenge. Any recommendations on beach front condo's or hotels with
a kitchen. Just to say that I will be visiting P.V. for the first time in October

Hotel in Bucerias. Any comments about the hotel would be most welcome. Also

I am booked for January again this year, and did so right off the plane home

called the San Marino Plaza. The most amazing sunset views in the world!!
I cannot wait to be back in paradise. I'm booked to be in P.V. Jan 15th to Feb 5th 2000. This will be my 12th
year traveling P.V. and I can't wait to get home that's what it feels like

Vamos a viajar con dos ñiños muy pequeños. Muchas Gracias Just got back from PV last nigth and had an amazing trip. I was wondering
if someone could possibly tell me the name of a song played in all the bars
that everyone dances to. I think its' called "Follow the Leader". If anyone
knows the name and artist of this song I would greatly appreciate any replyies.\
Cheers! Absolutely wonderful website. We will be vacationing there this January
and I'm impressed with how informative and complete this website is. We visited Puerto Vallarta twice last year, we stayed at the LaJolla
Mismaloya in July, and the Continental Plaza in Sept. We are also planning
a 99 trip back again! PV is not the normal tourist trap like Cancun, which
is more like Miami, all neon lights, not the real Mexico. PV offers both,
old and new Mexico, the shops and the market are quite a adventure, with the
bartering. And excellent restaurants. Holla! I'm going to visit P. Vallarta for a week starting next Sunday
(29th of August). I've been checking the weather forecast for a week now and
it seems to be raining every day! and this forecast extends well into sunday...Is
it really raining all the time or are you just getting showers for a period
during the day? Is there any Sun at all??
My husband and I are travelling tp PV for our honeymoon at the end of
December. We have a time share boked, but would love some suggestions on what
to do and see. My husband & I are planning our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and would
like to know if anyone out there has stayed at the Hacienda Buenaventura.
If so, what it is like and would you recommend it. Thanks for your comments. i had a truly wonderful time in puerto vallarta. The royal decameron
hotel was excellent and the people so so friendly and down to earth. Reccommended. Getting ready for my third trip to Puerto Vallarta in December. Can't
wait to have lunch at NoName Cafe, and dinners in the best restaurants in
the world. Puerto Vallarta is a true paradise. I've been to Puerto Vallarta 15 times in the past 20 years and will go
again in January. I LOVE IT. Your hotel list is great but I haven't been able to print it, where to
I get a printed copy or complete accomodation guide for PV? Been there before,
loved it, want to spend about 6 weeks there this winter, Jan/Feb, looking
for a studio apartment with kitchenette, beachfront, close to downtown, any
suggestions? If anyone is looking for a real cool and unforgettable excursion while
visiting PVR then I would recommend going to the Dolphin Adventure over in
Neuvo Vallarta. It is a unbelievable experience and one that you would never
forget. ACABAMOS DE ABRIR UNA AGENCIA DE VIAJES LES AGRADECERIA SI NOS PUDIERAN
MANDAR UN KIT DE INFORMACION POR CORREO A: CARLOS SALAZAR 640 OTE. MONTERREY,
N.L. C.P. 64000 GRACIAS.
Erhard Nothnagel P.S.

If anyone has any information that may help make my trip more enjoyable please
let me know. Thanks! My husband and I have visited Puerto Vallarta twice (once before we were
married and the second time for our honeymoon). We fell in love with it the
first time we were there. We went to some of the best restaurants. If anyone
is looking for a restaurant for a truly unique atmosphere and an unforgettable
time we highly recomment BOGART'S. If you are looking for a restaurant with
an absolutely spectacular view then visit La Panorama (if you go make sure
you ask to sit upstairs. The restaurant is two floors but the best is the
top floor). I am anticipating our next trip to Vallarta which should be in
the very near future. For anyone who is leary about going DON'T!! I guarantee
you will love it there. espero volver pronto a este paradisiaco lugar cuidemoslo todos los mexicanos La información de los hoteles con sus características nos sirvieron mucho
para poder elegir y disfrutar de nuestra estancia en ese hermoso lugar. Saludos. I would love it if you could send me information on the legend which
is a bar (rio) and also information on other nightlife. thanks. DOG. 60% of americans travel with thier pets. we have not been able to find
any info. ¨MY TRAVEL THERE WAS VERY EXITING AND ALWAY REMEMBER THE TALKATIVE PEOPLE¨ I found your site quite informative. As a first time visitor to Puerto
Vallarta, it made a big difference knowing more about that wonderful place.
