The U.S. Consular Agency for Puerto Vallarta & Nuevo Vallarta provides emergency services to US Citizens residing in, or visiting the area around Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and Nuevo Vallarta/Bahia de Banderas, Nayarit.
The Agency also performs notarials and receives US passport applications and consular reports of birth abroad (CRBAs). Passport and CRBA applications are sent to the U.S. Consulate General Guadalajara for processing.
Kelly Trainor, Consular Agent since November 1998 is assisted by a staff of three employees.
Office Hours
Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
Except for U.S. and Mexican holidays.
The Consular Agency is also closed on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month for in-service training.
Consular Services are also provided by International Friendship Club of Puerto Vallarta on the first Wednesday of each month from October to April. The I.F.C. is located at Parian del Puente where Calle Libertad & Miramar meet. Tel: (322) 222-5466.
