Giant billboards in english -- photos of shirtless men, gay flag etc. stopped by, door was open with just construction workers. they say it open...

You would need to get an import permit from th Aphis in the United States for the exact types of seeds you want to collect. Then the seeds would need to be inspected in Mexico for disease and a Phytocert would need to be issued showing that they are fre and clear from disease. In can be done but its...

they wont be finished anytime soon. also, im not so sure the hellish traffic is due to the construction. The increasing number of cars and insufficient infrastructure is the larger issue. With all the new condo towers and more on the way... welcome to big city traffic! I live N of vallarta and dread...

many people do rent by the month or year (private homes/condos). The best/least expensive places do not stay on the market long. much of it is word of mouth. easier to find a place off season. your coming into peak season. few will want to offer a long term lease now at a low price. after all one co...

Electricity can be very high. If you have a small apt its ok, but you are penalized for using more than the "average mexican" and your bill skyrockets. High payments are unavoidable if you have a pool/AC etc. when using ac, I pay 7000 pesos every 2 months - and i am religious about shutting lights a...

Ida used to perform at the Palm - and hosted the gay bingo at Blue Chairs. She's no longer at Blue Chairs (the hotel itself may actually be under new owership as well - rumors abound about a failed sale etc). The palm has been sold and the grand opening for the new owers (Vallarta Bench and Bar) is ...

I live between La Cruz and Bucerias and my ranch is in Higuera Blanca. I know most of the market from Mescales (S. of Bucerias) to Sayulita (way N of Bucerias) very well. No one seems to be answering you, so i will try to give you some small bit of info. I have not taken the tour, but I have been to Mascota several times. Trio is not consistant in my experience - though it can be quite good. So I would not go there for a special day. I always enjoy river cafe, but its really hot and humid right now and its totally outdoors. So I would not recommend it either until November. I think I would choose Cafe de Artist. Wort...
