The embedded info would allow them to scan the passports - presumebly from some distance - which would allow them to be used like a tracking device at least locally in a building or somehthing. Though i guess if th...

Thanks guys. Yes virtually all are taken onsite. There are a few exceptions. For example, my Thai Kaffir Limes trees which i started from seed are now 7 years old and have about 2 yrs more to go to set fruit --but i added a photo of a tree fruiting as well so people could see what a wrinkly kaffir l...

In the meanwhile, I thought people might enjoy seeing photos of some of my plants and projects. So I setup a little website and posted a ...

Check out Mananas which is on the same street as Pacos ranch, a block or so more inland. It is an elegant renovated hacienda -- amazingly beautiful and has becom very popular. This is a very large place Another new place is La Noche a few blocks away. More like a modern NY or chigago style coctail l...

I was interested in some of the properties that they had as the listing agent -- it took forever (2 weeks) to get information from them and when i did the prices were way above market. I had been interested in properties they had near la cruz and one in Higuera Blanca. So I was not too impressed, bu...

Many clients of Rancho Banderas go to Restuarante La Cascada in La Cruz. Its an easy bus ride on good roads - just a few minutes away. Has AC. Serves international cuisine: Italian, Thai, etc. They will be closed in September I believe. Black Forest in La Cruz is also a very good choice. Friendly, g...

I would caution you about buying any appliances at Sams in Vallarta whatsoever. Walmart I have no experience with. In the past 2 years I have purchased, a washing machine, 2 VHS players, a DVD player, 1 TV, 1 power plant, and 1 weed eater from Sams. ALL of these promptly fell apart or otherwize stop...

The other thing to worry about are sting rays. In sandy areas they are quite common. A friend of mine stepped on one about a month ago. Was very painful. The only way I know of to stop the pain and help destroy the toxin is to plunge the affected area into the hottest water that your body can stand ...
