I am not sure if I am doing this right but... I am trying to post a link to my webshots page with my photo albums with Puerto Vallarta trip photos. If it works and you have time please check them out.

Re:DESTILADERAS
hi, we were at Destiladeras Beach in early January of this year, it was fairly uncrowded. The sand was powdery soft and there were seashells aplenty. There is a restaurant there, so you can get refreshments there and there is a bathroom also. We stayed at the Holiday Inn, which I believe is close to...

Re:Our wonderul trip from January 2 til January 9, long
Well we paid $30.00 usd for the two of us but that was cuz we got snagged into a timeshare presentation, that is how we got our discount on the tour. We originally was trying for the Yelapa tour (which has waterfalls too) but there were not enough people for that one, so we went on the boat to Quimi...

Re:Our wonderul trip from January 2 til January 9, long
We stayed at the Holdiday Inn in the hotel zone. It was a nice hotel, nice rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We went all-inclusive, the buffet food was good, except it was barely warm most of the time. They did karoke a couple of nights at the bar, which was fun to see. I have photos a...

Our wonderul trip from January 2 til January 9, long
We arrived in Puerto Vallarta, Jan 2, 2002. I see beautiful mountains all around. We get our hotel, we have a nice ocean and mountain view. We walk the beaches around the hotel zone, we must have walked a few miles. There are rocks dividing the beaches up from one hotel to the next but the rocks do ...

Re:Destilladeras
I agree, Destiladeras beach was great. The sand was powdery soft and there were seashells all over. You could wade out quite a ways before it got deep, the tide was not as rough as at the hotel zone beaches. Sometimes the hotel zone beach tide would toss a rock on your foot or ankles hard enough to ...

Quimixto Tour
We tried taking the Yelapa tour but not enough people signed up for that so we ended up going on the tour that takes you to Los Arcos, Las Animas beach and then to Quimixto, where you can either hike or ride a horse up to a waterfall. First the bay was pretty choppy when we stopped at Los Arcos so t...

Re:holiday inn or blue bay club
We stayed at the Holdiday Inn just this January. It was a nice hotel, the rooms were nice. We had a nice ocean/mountain view. The pools were nice, had a volleyball net in part of the pool. The beach was nice in front of the hotel. The food in the buffet was pretty good, except most of the time it wa...

Re:Quiet beach in March?
We were at Destiladeras Beach north of Puerto Vallarta by Ranco Banderas in January and it was pretty quiet. The beach was really nice too, powdery sand and the you could walk out quite a ways in the ocean and it did not get too deep. The only thing is, there was a little bit of garbage around, not ...

Re:Vendor Harassment Factor?
I agree, the timeshare people keep on and on, no matter how many times you say no. They buddy up to you and won't let go. You just need to walk away. Then vendors can get a little irritating but at least they usually take no the first time.

Re:Our Christmas in a condo south of the river (this is long
Thanks for the recent trip report, sounds like so much fun. We will be leaving shortly to go on our trip to PV, we plan on going on the Rhythms of the Nights and going to Yelapa, probably by water taxi. You say it was a little cool when you were there, I maybe should pack some long sleeve tops. I ho...

Re:marriage license?
Well, I sure hope we don't need a passport as we are going on January 2 and it is too late to get passports. I think I will have to call the travel agent and she what she says. She never mentioned anything about needing a passport on January 2 or about me needing a marriage license so....

marriage license?
I was reading in a travel book for Mexico that a woman should bring her official marriage license to prove that she changed her name when married, because on your birth certificate it will have your maiden name. Is this really necessary, I would rather not bring my marriage license??What are everyon...

Re:Film processing in Puerto Vallarta
thanks, I think I will have some of my film processed there then, $7.00 is not too bad of a price to pay and then I don't have to worry about the film on the way back home.

Re:Film processing in Puerto Vallarta
Also is it cheaper in Puerto Vallarta to buy film for your 35 mm camera than in the US? I can get a 4 pack of 24 exposure kodak film 200 speed for $6.44 USD?? What are the prices for film?

Could you also carry your memory cards on your person so it would not get xrayed or is a metal detector not good either? Thanks for all the replies.

Film processing in Puerto Vallarta
We are thinking of having some of our film developed in Puerto Vallarta while we are there for our trip, how expenisve is it to have your film develped and it is as good of quality as in the US? Are there one hour photo shops? Any suggestions on a good quality film processing store?? And if you do h...
