Re:Is this a good deal?
I would say that depends on when you are visiting. If you are coming between now and November, I wouldn't say you got screwed but I wouldn't say you got a great deal. If you are coming down during the busy season, then you probably did pretty well. And I say all this without knowing what typical air...

Re:Working on Activities Team at a P.V. resort
Hi Jill, I also was looking for an opportunity to work in PV. I have sold new homes in Tucson for the past 12 years, and for the past few years when we are down there on vacation and I inquired about job opportunities with different developers I never got any encouraging feedback. Last year, we were...

Re:Top 5 things you have seen or done in Puerto Vallarta.
Lots of great things to do that are quite inexpensive. My favorites: 1. 12th of December, the last day of the celebration or festival of the Virgin of Guadalupe. So much to see, eat and enjoy. 2. Watching the sunset and sipping a margarita from almost anywhere with a view of the bay. 3. Taking the b...

Re:Help/info needed re transportation with two toddlers
Some of the taxi drivers down here are crazy but most are pretty good, although aggressive. If you have never been to PV, be prepared for all kinds of approaches for help and transportation at the airport. After you get through customs take a left and walk straight ahead until you get to two booths ...

Just got back, can't wait to return
Just got back from a brief visit, June 30 through July 5, and have to say that, unlike Mario, I thought the weather was much easier to take than expected. We live in Tucson and left on a 109F, but dry, day. We got caught in a shower getting off the bus from the airport at Walmart, after we realized ...

Re:I could use the help of those who know
Regarding bringing your grandson, there will be no hassles with Mexican authorities, but you need to have the proper documentation to leave the US with him. We go down with our grandaughter regularly and know that you need notarized authorization from the parents, including information on dates, whe...

Chuck, what about building up your resistance, that is, drinking alcohol on a regular basis so that when you go down to PV nothing is different. That is what I do and have never had any problems.

Sounds like a trip worth taking. But what do you think is going to happen with the new road? How will it change things?

We have been on the Rhythms tour and to Yelapa, Las Animas, Quimiixtos, etc. Strongly recommend the Rythms tour. Way too many restaurants to make a few recommendations. Where will you be staying?

Re:Which Fiesta Is Better? Kystal or Iguana
I've been to Iguana but not Krystal. All I can say is boy do they keep the booze coming! I can usually drink quite a bit without getting more than a little tipsy, but I don't recall ever being so bombed, although I wasn't sick or anything. Just couldn't remember anything the following day, so I gues...

I think the problem is with my own computer. I figured out how to access Brenda's board; I just can't do it the way I normally do. Glad there isn't a problem there.

Cannot access Brenda's site. Has it been hacked also, like JR's was just recently. Mogens, what do you know and how vulnerable are you? Something strange is going on.
