I have seen a lot of different opinions on the Bulletin Board concerning the Blue Shrimp.. well Lojo and I have to say we couldn't find a much friendlier group of people than Martin and his staff... We felt like we were part of the "familia" there... yes it is a little pricey... but you know what......

I have to agree with some of the others here.. don't knock it until you try it... We have been travelling this way for almost 15 yrs.. did the cruise thing, did the condo thing in Hawaii and started the AI thing with Sandals resorts in Mobay Jamaica... We love the Crown Paradise Resort and all that ...

Sorry to hear your comments everybody... but i will tell you this, Martin and his staff is TOPS on our list... when we were there back in February, we LOVED it... even when we went just for drinks.... we were treated like Kings and Queens... yes it is a little pricey but we have been coming to PV fo...

I would have to agree totally Gang.... one liners are "no brainers".... we got to know the owner and his staff quite well.... and we have been there when they prepared the dishes and how things are handled during the dining process, TOP NOTCH.... our friends who were down there with us are in the ca...

yes we have talked about that for one of the next "Survivor Vallarta" adventures for next year.... we may just go up there one or two days just to "veg", our friend Kassiano said he drove up there and it drove him crazy but loved it after he got there.... we just might have to do that too

oh we agree, we hope that it doesn't get too popular as well, but with the Sheridan down right now, they are enjoying the 98% occupancy rate right now too... We had a wonderful time with Ignacio (Nacho) the General Manager of the resort.... he has a GREAT staff working for him, so i think no matter ...

Know the area quite well... back to the north from Planet Hollywood is deSantos and the Blue shrimp... you should try these places too.... good food and atmosphere.... Blue Shrimp by the kilo, and made 20 different ways.... deSantos has an excellent Ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and Ceasar sala...

well i will vote for El Panorama or de Santos... when we were down there last year we went to de Santos and i had the ribeye that absolutely melted in my mouth with the garlic potatoes and it was reasonably priced... great jazz and blues playing in the back ground and very romantic and astetic.... B...

don't take this wrong, but Corona is the Bud Light of Mexico.... there are so many more wonderful beers down there... if you like a lager or dark beer try Dox XX or Modelo Negra, then the local beer Superior Sol isn't too bad either, then you have Pacifico, Tecate, Modelo, etc... there are so many f...

check out "8 Tostados" they have an excellent menu of various tacos and tostados as well... made from fresh fish, shrimp, crab, etc...
