sorry to jump in late and sorry I missed the height of the debate...was in Mexico for a while and avoid all electronic media while doing so but agree whole heartedly that the chair saving thing is rude and inconsiderate but honestly does the fault not lie with the hotel ? If you sell, let's say 300 ...

JROJEFF...funny, I know what you mean...look. http://www.jeorgethedodo.com/huh_jumble.asp I am not sure I understand the North American concern with public drinking when the real issue is public intoxication...I think the more restrictive laws promotes abuse whereas more liberal attitudes create an ...

djspens...it's a traffic issue not distance, you can see downtown PV from the beaches of Nuevo but like every place that has traffic issues, time of day has an impact on travel times...most times you'll get from Nuevo to downtown in an easy 20 minutes (cab time)...however avoid early evening as that...

try to keep in mind that the west coast entails much more than PV just the same as the east coast encompasses so much more than Cancun...there are options out there for you that I am sure that a group can get together and decide upon...honestly though I gave up group vacation planning years ago...I ...

we typically find that a package deal AI is less expensive than airfare and hotel alone...so a very good deal as you get whatever meals and drinks at the resort on top of the travel and accomodation at no extra cost so your free to sample the restaurants of PV without feeling like you've paid for so...

jrdr...the requirements you list do not exist in PV...there are some nice beaches but not fantastic, ocean swimming is not great and anything nice beachwise is not close to quality shopping options...however, if you want to experience some real Mexican culture, first class dining options and genuine...

Chicken Dinner...the beaches in the hotel zone are somewhat lacking...downtown a little better for lounging but neither are really swimable...Nuevo is a little better but up towards Bucerias is nicer...PV's attraction is primarily cultural...if your looking for that or a little fun on the town at ni...

stupenal...make sure your in building five...the pool there is adults only and and as such there are really not many children in the building either...also, it is the largest and I think the nicest pool on the resort...building six would be a close second as it is the newest and the pool is quite ni...

RDC is not, in my opinion Nuevo...really it is actually in Bucerias and a better Mexican experience compared to what PV has become...however, having said that...it is not in the same hotel class as Dreams...RDC is a four star resort if staying in building five or six and a three star if in building ...
