Thank you and I'm so sorry
I did not know about your losses and am so sorry to hear this! You gave me a lot of help when I booked our son and DIL's honeymoon at GCP, and then again when a couple of years ago my DH and I went there. We had a great time. We are going to PV in just a few days after not going since that trip. We ...

No moderators anymore?
Seeing the content of a couple of recent posts I am wondering what has happened to this forum? I used to frequent this board frequently and read up on PV. It really helped when we booked some trips there, and we are going back again soon so I thought I would look up what is new there and what is goi...

Yes, and there are porters there as well that will help you and you should be prepared to tip. You will have to take your bags through the scanners and hope for the green light. But to answer your questions they do have carts there. When you get through to the main lobby beware of the time share peo...

iI got it today! Well, it was $25 more today, probably thanks to the gas thing, but I don't see it getting any cheaper. So, off they go in November to the GCP!! They will be there over my birthday, which is when my hub and I usually go there, so that's gonna kill me........ Oh well, hubby will have ...

It's gone!
I DON'T BELIEVE IT! I went to book it this morning and it isn't there anymore! There are resorts that weren't there yesterday, so maybe, just maybe, they switch them around. I will keep a watch for GCP again. Darn it! I guess the name of the game is to book it when you see it. Geesh!

We have been down there enough times to know that anytime I can get the airfare for under $400 PP it is a good deal. So, that would mean about $850 or so for the resort and 800 for the airfare. So, the room and food would be about $120 per day for both of them. Hopefully Mr. Crown will check in here...

Is that one week and including airfare? I am looking at 824 PP at the Gold Crowm Paradise for one week and includes airfare from Portland, OR. It sounds good to me. Any opinions about this? I think the GCP is pretty nice but don't know personally. We want to send the kids on a great honeymoon! Any o...

Best time to book?
I am going to send my son and future daughter in law to Puerto Vallarta for their honeymoon in November. I was looking around and the prices are looking good (in my opinion) if I book now. Does anyone have any brilliant ideas on how soon is too soon, or what the best time to book for November of 200...

La Laguna is right on the main road going in to Nuevo Vallarta. It is tucked behind trees in the front so I never noticed it before. We had heard good things about it so even though our dinner was not good, if it weren't for the Timeshare thing and the fact that there are so many other restaurants t...

La Laguna & Fajita Republic in Nuevo Valarta
The coupons were for a 2 for 1 drink with dinner at one of the 3 restaurants. (Big deal) I don't know if one of the restaurants was the one you are speaking of. We took the coupons but left them at our hotel. They were the size of a business card. His main job was to try to talk us into going on tim...

La Laguna & Fajita Republic in Nuevo Valarta
We just got back from warm and wonderful PV. W had a great time, the weather was absolutely perfect and I can't wait to go back again! Several people recommended La Laguna in Nuevo so we gave it a try. We were definitely NOT impressed. The menu looked great, but the lobster we ordered was absolutely...

Club Marival
Our niece and nephew stayed at Club Marival last year. They said it was very nice, the food was good and they enjoyed the unlimmited drinks. No complaints. I thnk it was a 4 star as well.

El Panorama
IT is WONDERFUL! I discovered it quite by accident and fell in love with it! Be sure to go at sunset! Then order the El Panorama coffee. They turn off all the lights in the restaurant and make a beautiful blue fire waterfall (coffee Liquor) into your cup! The food is good, but the ambiance is what t...

Hola Sandi.g - another thing, some "all-inclusives" will talk about only "domestic" alcoholic beverages etc... so that means that it will be local beers, mexican labeled booze, etc... now some will have a modified all-inclusive that will include your breakfast and lunch but dinner is at your expens...

We are going to PV November 4th- YAY!!!! and our niece and nephew (adults) are going with us to celebrate my "mega-birthday" (cincuenta). They are staying at Grand Marival which is all-inclusive. We are staying at Grand Mayan, so will not be at an all-inclusive. We have no experience with all-inclus...
