Fishing in PV
Can anyone tell me if a permit or license is required for shoreline or Los Muertos pier fishing? Thanks!

Hi Chris, Loma del Mar is close to everything! 2 blocks to Los Muertos beach, 1 block from Olas Altas where there are plenty of resaurants & shops (are you familiar with Andales?). We're an easy walk to the rest of Old Town and even the Malecon. It's a 40 peso ($3.35 CA) taxi ride home. We also have...

Shipping my "stuff"
Everybody's been so helpful on all of my posts so far - I really appreciate it and hope to meet some/all of you when I'm finally moved... in the meantime... I can't seem to get a clear answer on this. My real estate agent (ex-pat Canadian) says I should apply for my FM3 after I get the title to my c...

Price of electronics in PV?
Hey all - need a quick answer on this Canadian long weekend! If I can get a 37' LCD HDTV for $680 USD this weekend, should I do it, or can I get a similar value in PV when I move down in late August. My shippables will be on their way about 2 months before I am, so I won't have time to check out loc...

It has to be asked... The Flu?
Since everyone I know is aware that I'm moving to PV this summer, I've had my fill of people questioning my judgement due to the non-stop news about the flu. How are things in town? How are Vallartens dealing with the news? I haven't heard of any cases linked to PV. Is there concern, panic, or is it...

Hi twah - I don't know if you're still wondering about Mexlend, but the same week you inquired, my PV agent (who is also Canadian) brought me to the Mexlend office. The broker I spoke to, Dan, seemed very professional and was very informative. I'm hoping my Toronto home will sell this weekend and th...

Thanks all! Oddly, my Vet has suggested light sedation, just to relax them. I'm definitely planning on bringing them into the cabin. My best friend has graciously volunteered to fly down with me and put a cat under her seat. Imagine that... volunteering to come to PV. A truly good friend is someone ...

Bringing Pets to Mexico
I am moving to PV in Aug-Sept '09 and I have 2 cats, who will be 3 years old by the time we move. Is there anyone with experience in flying cats into Mexico? Needless to say, "the girls" are my babies and I have never considered moving south without them. Who could appreciate a constant sunbeam bett...

Available Units in Loma del Mar
I've rented in Loma del Mar several times and from the first visit, I knew that this was where I wanted to spend a sunny and warm retirement.
I`m thrilled to say that unit A11 is no longer available! It`s mine... all mine!
