C&R
If I mention one of my local (PA, NJ) fishing trips I always get asked if I keep the fish I catch or throw them back. I laugh and I say I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. IN PV, I know at least one captain whose policy is catch and release on all billfish. Other fish: I think we learned our l...

<<PV has some of the best dining you will find anywhere..a real foodies paradise...which is why, I myself prefer not to go AI, but that is just a personal choice.-- Kat>> We can't imagine going AI in PV. We spend two weeks every year with a list of restaurants we want to try or go back to. We miss a...

We think the IFC tour is a must. We don't do it every year if for no other reason than some houses tend to be repeats. But do go, and bring a camera to take pictures of the art and architecture. My specialty is bathroom tile pix. Uh, er ... this might not be the ideal way to see what it's like to li...

hmmm....
This is tough. I don't agree that my time in the air is something sacred and shouldn't be desecrated. I just want to get where I'm going. I have a pretty good tolerance for loud kids (though none at all for getting kicked in the back (or shoved by adults for that matter)). It kinda depends on a coup...

Thank you
<<There's nothing like feeling the heat and getting a whiff of the outdoors as you arrive in Mexico>>
This has nothing to do with your question, but I just got all verklempt remembering that same sensation and looking forward to our arrival March 13.
Thank you.

Maybe not
Dolphin things are declining in popularity as the word gets out. There's plenty of other things to do.

Local bus, perhaps
Every year we travel a little lighter, so this time we just took the local bus, which stops at the foot of the overpass bridge. Babalu
I can't recommend Babalu too highly. We've gone out twice and had great times. Try fishwithbabalu@aol.com. If that doesn't work, PM me and I'll give you all the contact info. Even I can afford him.

In the Hotel Zone
We tried the buffet and the Fiesta Americana and it was very good. Neither of us can eat that much food though, so buffets aren't a bargain for us. Our normal preference: about halfway between the main Hotel Zone and El Centro is Las Alcatraces, opposite the Mega. Clientele is mostly locals, and if ...

Now you're spoiled
Yes you're under the spell and you've been spoiled by Los Tules. We've been going there for 9 years and we feel like it's "home." Low rise buildings, the pools, breakfast and hora feliz (one is two) at Chapultepec, easy walk to groceries and tequila.... Did I mention hora feliz?

Get the vaccine. It's not a matter of what's happening in PV. It's the traveling part. A couple days after about half of our flights to PV I come down with an upper respiratory something or other. The most probable explanation is the plane. Get the vaccine. Washing your hands -- which you should do ...

We've passed by, or rather under, your place plenty of times and didn't notice. In our local stores if I'm at the tequila shelf and there's someone looking mystified, I give them the lecture. "Are you looking for something spec...
