I think this is a perfect example of having to many eggs in one basket. Sounds like they mixed up two orders.
By the way, having never eaten there, is this a place that usually provides excellent grub?

Outside of work the only e-mails I send are to my travel agent, the Melia, and you and your lovely wife. Nobody else would read them anyway. BTW the ceo is the new fangled term for head honcho, or if you like, the guy that gets all the sh!!!.

Parasailing Cost?
I've watched them for years, to chicken to try it, but now my oldest daughter (25) who is coming with us says she wants to do the Parasailing thing. I showed her pictures of the lady hanging from the crane last January next to the Melia, but she shrugs that off so. Anyway, how much do they charge fo...

Whales
We have always gone to PV during christmas break (Dec 20 + on through first week in January) and have always seen some whales and dolphins right from the beach at our hotel. Course they are not as close up as if you took the boat tour, but I figure we saved a few bucks, and didn't contribute to some...

Addicted
I just 'gotta' add more. Yeah, I spend to much time on this thing, actually the only bulletin board I go on, I am the CEO so I don't have to account for my time at work, as long as everything is done, but I agree the addiction has its roots in wanting to always be in PV. It is a year round knawing a...

ARE YOU ADDICTED TO THIS BOARD?
I check this board at least 5 times a day, from work and at home. Last weekend they had a thing on TV about people being addicted to Chat Lines and Bulletin Boards, with the warning signs including constantly being on the sites while at work, (playing instead of working) and at home, and making lots...

Lebanese Food
I like Lebanese (Middle Eastern) food, and thought his answer was appropriate, since all of us reading the post are obviously internet savy, ... so have the ability to google " Lebanese Food " and see what the normal cultural entre's are. All of the people that I have met here in Canada of Lebanese ...

Best Restaurant
Had a pretty good burger at Hooters on the Malecon once. Actually had to use the washroom, and they had a sign that said for customers only, ... so we were hungry... and it tasted great.

Corona's for me
Don't now why I always choose Corona, ....must be the taste, ....don't taste anything like our good strong Canadian stuff,...just shows you that a beer drinker will always enjoy his beer. If no Corona, then I'll drink anything except that dark stuff.

It's Not the Mayan Place, its just their timeshare salesmen.
Welcome to the club. We did the timeshare sales thing at the same place two years ago, or was it three). Anyway, we had every intention of buying a timeshare, not necessarily for the Neuvo Mayan Palace, but to be able to exchange. The guy who was also introduced to us as 'John' from Vancouver is app...

Where to buy fresh Shrimp and Lobster
One year Rapid Tales (Paul) went downtown somewhere and bought fresh shrimp, brought it back to the hotel, and got the cook to prepare it for us. We had it as an add on to the regular buffet at our table and it was great. We are going down at xmas/new years and taking all of our children and grandch...

Best drink
Never heard of it before but our waiter made me something he called a "Pitufo" , (roughly spelled), but I got hooked on them. They are made with Tequila and Grapefruit Juice. and of course the salt on the rim. When I asked for one at another place, I got it there too, so it was not unique to the one...

Occidental Allegro
Wife and I stayed there last January when our regular place was booked solid. We had some problems at checkin, never did get our king size bed, but they gave us a room on ground level right behind the giant chess board. We really enjoyed it. No bathtub, just a shower. Rooms were nice, clean, and the...

The One Thing about Puerto Vallarta
No matter how long each of us live, Puerto Vallarta is responsible for the Beautiful Memories of the happy vacations that I, my wife, our children, and our grandchildren will forever remember. I can only imagine the scrapbook pictures my grandchildren will be showing to their grandchildren 50 years ...

PV during Xmas
You and your children are going to have a great time. We have been taking our children to Mexico over xmas and new years for quite a few years now and thoroughly enjoy it. ARE ALL INCLUSIVE PRICES COMING DOWN?
Just wondering what others are paying for their vacation packages. We booked ours in August because of the chance of being sold out, and really thought that would happen especially after Cancun had the big wind, but the Newspaper had three pages of holiday specials and sell offs today. We prebooked ...

Where do we stay?
We have stayed at the Allegro in Neuvo (once) but our regular haunt is the Melia which is in the Marina district. When we have our kids with us, we have to stay at the Melia, because it is the most kid friendly place I've ever been at, period: it has so much to offer, they really look after your kid...
