PV is just not the best place for snorkeling. I was there is Aug. and Las Caletas was fabulous. The water was so clear and the beach and sand is great. You can snorkel, kayak, take a nature walk. Very lush and tropical. You must book through Vallarta Tours.
I have always enjoyed Yelapa as well. Have a great time!!

No problem, Pat. Thanks for the information. We love Puerto Vallarta, but have noticed that the water in just plain not Carribean blue like...the Carribean is (how's that for a dumb statement). Anyway, there is so much to offer besides snorkeling, it has never stopped us from returning. The sunsets are georgeous & when you are sitting on your own private balcony, who cares if the water isn't as bright. I'll keep your input in mind, though. Tic-toc, Sunday is almost here! Yeah!!
