Any Golden Crown Rooms Suites?

Post by mjoholske » Wed Apr 08, 2009 2:23 pm

Getting ready to book here...golf thing all answered, thanks. Are any of the rooms suites? How about the time share rooms? I looked at a few websites to find people renting their timeshare units, but there is only 1 or 2 of them. Hubby and I would perfer another room to "get-away" from each!!

There are some suites up above the Paradise Restaurant that has the bedroom seperate from the living room/dinette area. Sorry i do not know the room numbers of these. It has been quite some time since we have stayed in these. The other suites (honeymoon - 1201 - 1502 - 1703) are basicly regular rooms with large open air verandas, and a jacuzzi on the deck. Then the jr jacuzzi suites (beach front rooms 2101-2201-2301-2401-2501-2601 are regular rooms with the jacuzzi on the veranda, rooms 2112-2212-2312-2412-2512-2612 are a little larger with a sitting area, dining table and the jacuzzi inside the suite)...

that is the best i can do right now.....

Well Lorrie and I have been married 20 yrs now. And when we want to escape from each other, she has the pool or the veranda of our suite, i have the breeze bar, pool bar, pub bar, etc.... you can find many places to escape from each other if you really need the space... HA HA HA

I recommend the Breeze Bar to get away from the wife or even better go next door to adults hot tub and make friends with the swim-up bar. She will never think to look for you at the other hotel.

When we first bought a timeshare down there we were in room 7001. It is on the top floor with a pool on the deck. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms an a huge deck. I don't know if the room number is the same now. We had to move over to Marina de Oro when the GCP became adults only and at the time we had 2 teenage kids that always came down with us. Our room now is just as nice but we don't have the view we did before. 3 more weeks and we will be down for our 13th time. WooHoo!

There are suites on the 7th floor. All are oceanfront. There's 4 of these suites, one of them I believe is the owner's. During our stay this past January we were given a free upgrade to one. The very spacious and comfortable.

Enjoy your stay at GCP, I'm envious.

Owners Suite

Post by tojol57 » Tue Apr 14, 2009 9:14 pm

the owners suite has a nice plunge pool, a hot tub, game room with billards table, darts, etc.. it has a mahagony table that will sit 16, as well as a full kitchen i believe.. we had friends from Wisconsin that ended up in that suite and they had 8 or ten staying in there, and the other couples ended up in the "eagles nests" above them... it is plush that is for sure... Senor Salvador Onelles Sr (the original owner before splitting things up with his children) was a glassy guy to sit down and talk with. Now his son Jr is running the show. He runs a much faster pace than Dad did, but it is still nice to see them when they are in town.
