HELLO DOSE ANYONE KNOW WHICH LONG DISTANCE CARRIER I CAN PUT ON MY RENTAL PROPERTY PHONE SO NO ONE CAN MAKE LONG DISTANCE CALLS? I HAVE TELMEX AND THEY SAY THEY CANT BLOCK LONG DISTANCE CALLS ONLY CELL PHONES NUMBERS.

There is a local VOIP dealer here in Puerto Vallarta that has onsite tech support right here in PV. You can go to www.tarjetel.com.mx they have a great site that explains everything about VOIP phone service & telephone cards too. Hope this helps.

P.S. You don't need a computer or a conventional telephone to use VOIP Telephone service. All you need is a direct internet connection into the modem of your local internet provider.
