We love the ceviche at Andariego's. We have to have it every time we go. But watch out for the tequila shots they give you. They sneak up on you before you know it, lol.

I love the ceviche tacos (tostadas) at Mariscos Mismaloya, a street vendor cart on Aquiles Serdan, just across from Rizo's grocery store. I think these are 10-12 pesos each, and two of them is a nice lunch with a cold cerveza. If you arrive much past 1 pm, she has run out of the ceviche for the day.

The twice baked potatoes at Cafe de Olla are fantastic! They don't have them listed on the menu, but you can order as a side dish, or ask for the potatoes instead of rice, like with the wonderful fish fillet meal that they serve for $10.

The conch combo (which actually doesn't contain conch, but a lot of other shell fish) at La Laguna in N.V. and the flan at La Paloma.

This is actually in Bucerias-----After dinner, in the main square, a man sells churros for 3 or 5 pesos.

If you want just "normales" which are coated with sugar, the price is 3 pesos. If you want lechera, cajeta, or chocoate inside, the price is 5 pesos.

We tried cajata and chocolate----yummy!!![/i]

Also in Bucerias on the plaza, at least as of October, there is a lady selling crepes with fillings such as Nutella. NOT recommended for those with diabetes, otherwise totaly wonderful.

Fred and I had dinner last night at the newly opened "Mutiny Bay" on Basilio Badillo. Everything was amazing and at a super price as well. I had the breaded shrimp dinner special and it came with a massive baked potato with melted cheese and bacon bits, some greens and perfectly cooked tender crisp veggies. Fred had the mahi mahi in a garlic butter sauce and we could not stop raving about how great our dinners were. 269 pesos for 2 huge dinners and a drink each.
Oh, and the banos were so clean I could have had my dinner in there if I had wanted to.

We were just in PV and all agreed that our favorite dinner was at Barcelona Tapas. The bacon wrapped dates are fantastic, and the sauteed mushrooms with little bits of chorizo are very tasty too.

We had dinner for 5 with 2 bottles of red wine, and we could not even finish all of the food, and the total bill was $100 (before tip).
