Where can I find a Spanish Classes / Private lessons in PV? Reply with quote
I'd love to improve my Spanish. Can anyone suggest an established spanish class for beginners or a good private tutor?

The Spanish Experience Center offers classes to all levels. They have a website. The local public library may also offer classes.

I was at the Spanish Experience center in September. It is worth checking out. They offer classes for all levels with a maximum of 3 students per classroom. The courses focus on conversational Spanish rather than learning grammar. I was initially surprised by the curriculum but it turned out to be very effective and I learned a lot.

Spanish Lessons at Philo's Reply with quote
Philo's (La Cruz) has lessons twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She will start the classes as soon as there are enough people to participate. Private tutoring is available at beginner and advanced levels. $30 peso donation for each group class. You have to buy the book Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish. I have the instructor's email if you are interested. Her name is Kathleen.

I attend a weekly session at the PVRPV office on Pinot Suarez and Fco Madero on Saturday morning at 8:30 am. It costs 50 pesos for one hour and the proceeds go to charity. Just show up.
