| Cost of phone calls to the USA form internet cafes |
|
I read that one of the cheaper alternatives to calling the USA from PV is from internet cafes. Can someone tell me the approximate cost of these calls? Thanks. Only 25 more days until we are basking in the beauty of Vallarta. Can't wait.

There is one place in Old Town (near the corner of Olas Altas and Basilio Badillo) that charges 2 pesos per minute.
Some bars and restaurants let you make a call for "free" when you buy a meal at their place, i.e. Cafe Roma.

Cafe Roma lets you make calls home for free and Dee's Coffee Shop only charges a nominal fee. I call home using Skype so can't tell you the actual cost. _________________

I buy calling cards when I'm there. A 100 peso card lasts a few days if you like to call home during your trip. The cards are available at any convenience store like OXXO.
