I'm listening to the TV News channel which is going back and forth between 12 Canadians having died so far from tainted meat from Maple Leaf, and 5 escaped prisoners from Regina, who were on remand for Murder. Either way our system sucks and people are not doing their jobs properly anymore.

Neither story right now is making my day.... Think I'll put on either Hank Snow or George Strait singing 'Seashores of Old Mexico'.

PS: I forgot... they keep mentioning something about Iran buying wheat from the U.S., Taliban financing their war from sales of some opium, Bin Ladens bin hiding some more, STEVE Dion says STEVE Harper wants an election, but I'm not sure that will happen as the Conservatives big National Convention is scheduled for November in Winnipeg, and some elections are in the works in the U.S. . And by the way.. Hillary lost, but nobody told her!

Today's selection is "Everbody Knows This is Nowhere" By Neil Young. Right this moment "Cinnamon Girl" is playing from that cd.

Mogens - I know its Springsteen's song but don't you think Manfred Mann does a better version of Spirits In The Night ?

Springsteen is a master performer and songwriter - he wrote Fire - which the Pointer Sisters nailed and another tune - Blinded By The Light that Manfred Mann covered brilliantly .
