Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramírez led the inauguration of the newly renovated pier in Boca de Tomatlán, a significant milestone in the state’s ongoing efforts to improve nautical infrastructure and boost coastal tourism.
Joined by Governor-elect Pablo Lemus, newly elected mayors Luis Munguía of Puerto Vallarta and Daniel Ruiz of Tomatlán, as well as local legislator Yussara Canales and the state’s tourism and public works secretaries, Alfaro highlighted the importance of this project in the state’s maritime connectivity plan.
The 45-million-peso investment in Boca de Tomatlán follows the recent renovation of the pier at Playa de los Muertos, demonstrating the state’s commitment to connecting its various beach destinations.
Governor-elect Pablo Lemus emphasized the importance of continuing to invest in nautical infrastructure, and expressed his commitment to working closely with the incoming Puerto Vallarta mayor, Luis Munguía, to further develop the region.
