The second annual Green Macaw Festival is set to take place on Saturday, November 30th, in the picturesque coastal town of Boca de Tomatlán.
This family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, wildlife photography exhibits, storytelling, and informative presentations on local environmental initiatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of conserving the region’s biodiversity, particularly the endangered green macaw.
The festival will be held at the Boca de Tomatlán boardwalk from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Organized by the local NGO Unidos por las Guacamayas, the event aims to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices.
