Puerto Vallarta is gearing up for its annual Fiestas Guadalupanas, a 12-day celebration honoring the Virgin of Guadalupe.
From December 1st to 12th, the city will come alive with vibrant processions, folkloric dances, Mariachi music, and fireworks. The festivities will culminate at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, where thousands of devotees gather to pay homage to the Virgin Mary.
The Peregrinación de los Favorecidos (Pilgrimage of the Favored) is a highlight of the festival, attracting up to 20,000 people on December 12th. This procession winds through the streets of Puerto Vallarta, showcasing the deep-rooted faith and devotion of the community.
This event holds significant cultural value, as it is recognized as an Intangible Heritage of the State of Jalisco.
