PV Welcomes Over 6,000 Passengers in Double Cruise Arrival

Puerto Vallarta experienced a significant surge in tourism this week as two cruise ships made simultaneous port calls on Tuesday, bringing over 6,000 passengers and crew members to the popular coastal destination.

The first vessel to arrive was the Discovery Princess, a 329-meter long ship that docked at Pier 2 at 6:15 AM. Carrying 3,755 passengers and 1,370 crew members, the Discovery Princess had departed from Mazatlán on November 30 and is scheduled to conclude its voyage in Los Angeles, California on December 7.

Shortly thereafter, at 7:45 AM, the Majestic Princess, measuring 330 meters in length, made its way to the port. Originating from Los Angeles and bound for Panama, the Majestic Princess is carrying 2,933 passengers and 1,320 crew members. Its current voyage commenced on December 1 and will conclude on December 19 in San Antonio, Chile.
