Puerto Vallarta’s Municipal Police force has been significantly strengthened with the graduation of the 21st class of police cadets last week. A total of 39 new law enforcement officers celebrated their achievement in a ceremony attended by local authorities, instructors, and proud families, marking a major step forward in reinforcing public safety across the city.
Mayor Luis Ernesto Munguía González and Police Commissioner Eduardo Horacio Llanas Cuevas led the event, commending the graduates for their exceptional discipline, commitment, and determination throughout their rigorous training. Officials emphasized that this new cohort not only expands the police force but also represents the continued success of a security strategy built on earning and maintaining community trust.
The ceremony concluded with the official swearing-in of the 39 graduates, who proudly pledged to uphold the core principles of legality, professionalism, honesty, and respect for human rights as they begin their service to the community.
