From March 12 to 22, 2026, the Spring Jazz Festival returns for its 30th consecutive year, hosted by the iconic beachfront restaurant Cuates & Cuetes. Under the theme “30 Years Sowing Jazz: From New Orleans to Mexico,” this 11-day event brings the sophisticated sounds of brass and piano to the shores of Playa Los Muertos, offering a unique fusion of traditional jazz and modern Mexican rhythms.
The festival is famous for its open-air, toes-in-the-sand atmosphere, and this year is no different. While the daily schedule features rotating ensembles starting each afternoon, the crown jewel of the event is the Grand Equinox Concert on Saturday, March 21.
In keeping with its three-decade legacy of community spirit, all performances at the Spring Jazz Festival are free and open to the public. No tickets are required to enjoy the music from the beach, though seating at Cuates & Cuetes fills up early each evening.
