The PVR Michelada Festival returns for its third annual edition on March 14 and 15, 2026, promising a vibrant weekend at the Puerto Mágico parking lot, located next to the maritime terminal. From noon to 11:00 PM, visitors over the age of 18 can explore more than 30 exhibitors showcasing creative and traditional takes on the michelada—a beloved Mexican beer-based cocktail. Alongside these bold drinks, the festival will feature a variety of local and regional food stalls offering everything from fresh seafood to classic coastal snacks.
The event is designed to be a high-energy “coastal experience,” featuring live bands, DJ sets, and various contests. One of the weekend’s highlights is the competition for the “Best Michelada Award,” where mixologists and local vendors vie for the top title. Between the music and the tastings, guests can also expect surprise gifts and interactive activations, making it one of the most anticipated social gatherings for the March long weekend.
The festival is free of charge, making it an accessible way for residents and tourists alike to dive into a deeply rooted Mexican culinary tradition. With the beautiful backdrop of the Banderas Bay waterfront, the PVR Michelada Festival offers the perfect blend of spice, flavor, and community spirit.
