Puerto Vallarta has officially entered its most active period of the year, launching a marathon of high-profile events that span from March through April 2026. The season began with the 31st Gala Puerto Vallarta & Riviera Nayarit (March 10–12), where over 750 industry leaders are currently negotiating thousands of business deals. To showcase the city’s resilience, visiting media and wholesalers have been treated to curated experiences, including tours of the iconic Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe and sunset dinners at the renowned La Cappella restaurant.
The upcoming weeks offer a diverse array of festivals catering to music lovers and foodies alike. The Fairyland Music Festival (March 12–15) will bring queer house music to Mantamar, while the Spring Jazz Festival (March 12–22) offers 11 days of free performances on Los Muertos Beach. Culinary enthusiasts can also look forward to the Dama Juana Raicilla Festival (March 13–15) and the PVR Michelada Festival (March 14–15), highlighting the region’s traditional spirits and coastal flavors.
As the calendar shifts into late March and April, the focus turns toward major business and athletic competitions. The Exphotel Vallarta (March 18–20) will gather 2,500 hospitality buyers, while elite athletes will descend on the bay for the UTMB World Series (April 16–18) and the Puerto Vallarta Marathon (April 19). With a series of international medical congresses also on the horizon, Puerto Vallarta is solidifying its position as a world-class destination capable of hosting thousands of visitors across the cultural, sporting, and professional sectors simultaneously.
