Puerto Vallarta hosted ElectriVallarta 2026 from June 24 to 26 at the Sheraton Buganvilias, bringing electrical-sector specialists, contractors, suppliers and public officials together for three days of training, networking and infrastructure discussion.
The congress focused on practical issues that matter as the destination continues to grow: safer electrical planning, hotel efficiency, solar-system maintenance, interconnection with CFE, electromobility requirements for new developments and technical training for construction teams.
According to the event site, the program included conferences and workshops for engineers, contractors, maintenance teams, business decision-makers and construction professionals. Local reports said municipal representatives and the Asociación de Constructores de Obras Eléctricas de Occidente used the opening to underline Puerto Vallarta’s fast urban, tourism and hotel growth, and the need for modern, safe energy infrastructure to support it.
For visitors, the story is less about a trade show and more about destination capacity. Better planning for hotels, transportation, services and new developments helps Puerto Vallarta keep pace with demand, especially around high-traffic areas connected to the Puerto Vallarta airport, the hotel zone and the city’s waterfront. Business travelers attending events like ElectriVallarta also add weekday demand for restaurants, tours and landmarks such as the Malecón.
ElectriVallarta’s 2026 edition positions the city as both a leisure destination and a practical meeting point for industries tied to construction, energy and hospitality infrastructure in western Mexico.
