Banderas News reports that organizers announced the milestone on August 13 during a media event in Miami. The Jalisco edition will also give the awards a local cultural layer: Visit Puerto Vallarta says the signature HEAT globe trophy will be reinterpreted through Jalisco crafts including Wixárika beadwork, Tonalá ceramics, blown glass, piteado leatherwork and traditional toy making.
