The fourth Cruce Vallarta open-water swim is Saturday, November 14, with long courses leaving Holi Beach in Puerto Vallarta’s hotel zone and finishing on the Malecón.
The official convocatoria lists 4.5-kilometer and 3.1-kilometer crossings from Holi Beach at 7:30 a.m., ending beside Hotel Rosita and Los Milenios, the Mathis Lídice sculpture. A 1.5-kilometer circuit starts at 10:30 a.m. on that same Malecón beach. Visit Puerto Vallarta’s English page lists 9:30 a.m. for the shorter course; the organizer PDF treats 9:30 as the arrival window and 10:30 as the start, which matches the Spanish tourism-board listing. Confirm the time when you register.
Kids ages 9 to 14 have a 1-kilometer circuit at noon. Adult distances are open to swimmers 15 through 70 and older. Every finisher gets a medal, and the top three times in each category are recognized when at least five athletes enter that group. The 3.1K also has a general fins division.
Register on the organizer site through November 10. The current convocatoria fee is 1,450 pesos. Kit pickup is Friday, November 13, from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hotel Rosita, Paseo Díaz Ordaz 901. There is no race-day pickup. A safety buoy is required. Wetsuits, snorkels, paddles, and headphones are not allowed. If you are already at Holi Beach for turtle releases, the long-course start is the same shoreline.
