Playa Camarones (Camarones Beach; camarones=shrimp/shrimps) is a popular beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, located on the magnificent Bay of Banderas coast. This lengthy expanse of sand is on the northern end of downtown Puerto Vallarta beginning at Villa Premiere and Tranquila Beach going south up to Jesús Langarica Street a short walk from the Malecon, Puerto Vallarta’s most popular tourist attraction. Playa Camarones is an outstanding sunbathing beach with a variety of food and drinks available at the bars, restaurants, and vendors that line the beach. There are also other watersport activities to choose from, such as parasailing, jet skiing, and paddle boarding (SUP). The beach is especially popular for sitting and enjoying the beautiful sunsets that occur almost every evening.
