14th Edition of the Vallarta Cup Race Series

The fourteenth edition of the Vallarta Cup Race Series is now underway, these sailing competitions take place every Saturday in January with races set for Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26.

Vallarta Cup is the traditional kickoff of the racing season in Banderas Bay. It is held 4 Saturdays in January, with a single race during the day and an evening party at the Vallarta Yacht Club clubhouse the evening of each race day. Everyone is welcome, from cruisers to performance boats. All boats will be rated using the VYC Handicapping System.

The 14th edition of the series started this Saturday, January 5, and Will continue on the 12, 19 and 26, organized by the Vallarta Yacht Club (VYC) located in Nuevo Vallarta.

“More than a race it’s about camaraderie for everyone assisting, every Saturday after the races there’s a themed party at the club”, noted Andy Barrow, Race Director.
