The director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, Luis Villaseñor Nolasco, reported that the city’s International Airport will receive 1,025 flights during the first fortnight of this month, both from the national and international markets.

He stressed that there is good news for this June, the prelude to summer, where rates are already beginning to be higher than those of the past months of April and May, which have been records for the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.

“For these first fifteen days of the month we will be receiving around 1,025 operations to the airport, both national and international, with a high component of national flights; it increases considerably to Mexico City through the different airlines”.

Likewise, the return of the summer route from Las Vegas with Frontier is expected, since strong connectivity with the United States will continue, as Americans will be visiting the destination.

On the other hand, a greater national influx is expected in July, so the number of operations in May, which were already historical, will be exceeded, with more than 1,800, and in June above 2,000, which will be a 6% increase against The last month.

“We come from a historic April also in operations and arrival of international passengers and leading occupancy at the national level, because things are being done very well in the destination and that is why we have not stopped promoting Puerto Vallarta for the summer.”

It is worth mentioning that in June 2020, Puerto Vallarta received 322 flights; in June 2021 there were 1,535 and for this month almost 2 thousand operations.
