Chico, interesting topic seeing as how I had a birthday yesterday. This morning at work I put a pot of coffee on to brew and came back a few minutes later only to see clear water coming out of the filter basket...I forgot to put coffee into the filter! Just imagine the "old lady" jokes I had to endure all morning.

Must be stupid week... I did exactly the same thing today at work. Put the filter in, then put it in the machine..... never noticed till I poured out the 'water' into my already doctored cup... Staff went around saying it was a sure sign of Alzheimer's.

Come on out there.. somebody else must have done this as well.... this stuff's just gotta happen in three's.

What's bad is when they give you the discount without even asking <;-| .

A bit of a twist on the "clear coffee". I think it was last weekend I carefully prepared the coffeemaker and pushed the start button. When I went back to pour a cup the carafe was empty, I had forgotten to put water in the machine.
