Infant car seats

Post by raiderj16 » Thu Apr 09, 2009 3:06 pm

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with infant car seats in PV? We are going there in August and our daughter and granddaughter are going along. I wanted to know what do you do with the car seat when you go into town to shop, so that you don't have to haul it all over the place? Suggestions anyone? Thanks.

Sit - N - Stroll

Here's what Chico suggested : http://babyproducts.about.com/od/travel ... stroll.htm

Its probably more suited to indoor strolling as a lot of PV's turf is cobblestone . All the big stores downtown - Ley , Rizo's and Woolworths have baggage check areas . I would find the one most convenient and ask them if you could leave the seat for a fee .

I've always had positive experiences with the cabbies in PV . They have their licences - with photo ID - clearly visable . Why not hook up with a cabbie that your hotel concierge knows - pay him a fee to put the seat in his trunk after your ride and arrange for a pickup later in the day ?
