WINNIPEG? What about Vancouver. I understand that everyone is trying to flee Winterpeg at this time of the year, but us westcoast types, have to put up with the wind and the rain for 6 months. THE AGONY.

Turns out the deals are for December. Usually mild here then. Now February is when there is an exodus.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRUE MANITOBAN if !!!!!!
>
> 1. "Vacation" means going South past Emerson for the weekend.
> 2. You measure distance in hours.
> 3. You know several people who have hit a deer more than once.
> 4. You often switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day and back again.
> 5. You can drive 65 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard,
>without flinching.
> 6. You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit.
> 7. Driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with
>snow.
> 8. You know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and road
>construction.
> 9. Your idea of creative landscaping is a statue of a deer next to your
>blue spruce.
>10. Down South to you means Grand Forks.
>11. Your 1st. of July picnic was moved indoors due to frost.
>12. You have more miles on your snow blower than your car. ( Husband fired it up yesterday and we're ready!)
>13. You find 0 degrees "a little chilly."
>14. You actually understand these jokes, and you forward them to all your
>Manitoba friends.
>AND you wonder why we go to PV? Actually I once asked Signature why there were no real deals out of Winnipeg and there answer was there was no need as they had no problem filling up space.

I guess you have to EAT your words, considering the Argos destroyed the Lions and took the GREY CUP this year, eh?

Anyone know what the "hook" was for this free airfare? Since I doubt Signature had suddenly become philanthropists...LOL

My guess is the airfare was free, but the hotel was double the price...I just remember the days of free airfare to Vegas, but by taking the free airfare you had to commit to playing X-number of dollars at high stakes gambling tables (usually more than what it would have cost to just buy the flight LOL).

My sister-in-law did check on Nov.18th and those good deals were for December 17, 18, 24, & 31.
eg.$928 including tax for a week in Puerto Vallarta - all inclusive. Don't know which hotels though. Basically they took $450 off for airfare. Unfortunately she was looking for Feb.
