The second edition of VinomaFest will celebrate Mexican wine in Puerto Vallarta

Vinoma Fest will bring together 40 different wineries from various Mexican areas this year in Puerto Vallarta following a successful first edition. According to Manuel Santana, the director and founding partner of Vinoma Fest, “the wine festival in Puerto Vallarta represents a fantastic chance for wine aficionados in this country.”
SinEmnbargo, Mexico City, February 5—Vinoma Fest, an event that combines delectable cuisine and Mexican wines to entice palates, will be hosted for the second time this year. 40 Mexican wineries will congregate in stunning Puerto Vallarta from March 8 to March 12 to present more than 200 labels along with conferences, gala dinners, and parties.

Vinoma Fest’s goal was to host a wine and wine pairing event in Puerto Vallarta. The initiative was conceived during the pandemic. Director and founding partner of Vinoma Fest Manuel Santana stated, “A part that interests us quite a lot is the formative part, in such a way that we have prepared a congress with the curatorship and solidarity of the Mexican School of Sommeliers, managed by sommelier Ricardo Espndola.” Aguascalientes will be the first region invited, according to Santana, as Puerto Vallarta serves as a showcase for Mexican wines for consumption by locals, visitors, and festival-goers who return year after year. Gloria Romo, the secretary of tourism for Aguascalientes, said, “The festival will allow us to showcase our grape harvests and the Wine Route, unique experiences that are becoming one of the best tourist offers in the region, while at the same time showcasing the tradition, landscape, and culture of Aguascalientes wine.”

Sandra Fernandez, Daniel Sanchez from Hacienda Guadalupe, and other wine experts will speak at conferences hosted by Vinoma Fest. They will share their expertise with members of the wine and service industries as well as the student population and wine enthusiasts. 400 guests will partake in a master tasting of Mexican wines under the direction of sommelier Ricardo Espindola.

This wine festival will feature local eateries and lodging establishments, including Terminal Martima Muelle 2, Holiday Inn Suites, Hotel Buenaventura Grand, Glassroom, and Nineninety9.

At a dinner held at the Wine Bar of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in Mexico City to announce this second edition, famous chefs Fabiola Meraz and Ricardo Espindola led guests on a delectable culinary journey.
