Have Fun
Hey Tom
You and Lorrie have a great time in Feb. Mark and I are going to try to get down in Feb, but we're not sure if we will make it then. We might have to go later in the year. This working for a living sometimes gets in the way of living If we don't make it raise a glass for us.

AI or European
We have done both and have found that for us the best way to go is AI - It is very convenient since we do not have to carry around money while at the resort and we know up front what our vacation will cost (approximately). We do spend time and eat, drink and party off the resort, but the bulk ...

Re:declaring maximum
The maximum is for everything that you bring back, including booze. On the plane you will be given a form to fill out and it will tell you the max. unfortunatly this will be on your return trip. I believe the max is about $200 to $250 per person, We just keep a approximate running total while we out...

Re:Buying Beer
There is a Sam's Club and a Wallmart near the Marina, both have good prices on beer.

Re:Food reccomendations at Golden Crown Paradise?
Speaking for myself, I was just trying to answer the question that was asked. I too, agree that you should get out and try the local resturants and such, to get a feel for the area that you are in. How ever, if you are staying at an AI you want info on that too. Many people like the convience that A...

Re:Food reccomendations at Golden Crown Paradise?
Both Paradise and Salvador's are very good resturants. The seafood at each was always excellent. The service is great and don't forget these are the two places at the resort that serve Sexy Coffee - which is a show all in itself. As for the at Crown next door- we found the French resturant ( I don't...

Re:11th GPC stay
As much as I detest getting into any sort of mud slinging event, I feel that I must respond to Stew. A few points to consider: 1) As you were not with either Chuck or myself on our trips, you have no basis for making rude comments about our behavior. I personally never did anything that was an embar...

Re:Drink selection at Golden Crown Paradise?
Yes, it is true that at the resort they only serve Sol. I understand that next door at the Crowm Paradise you can get another brand but I have forgotten what it was. As for the hard liquor used I would say in the mixed drinks they use mid-range liquor, but you can get a wide variey of top shelf stuf...

Re:11th GPC stay
It is truely amazing the punch that some of those drinks have, isn't it? You definitly can not say that the GCP waters down the drinks. We had some fairly blurry afternoons as well, so I know what you mean. It took both Mark and I to do our trip report and I not quite sure the details are in the rig...

Great trip report Chuck. Glad that you and Kay had a great time. I was also glad to hear that Kay got a job right away.

Re:How much and best place for a message?
Do you mean a massage? If so the Holiday Inn has a sunset massage out on the beach that is very nice. It is around $40 for one and $70 for a couple. It is an hour long and in a private pavillion on a little bit of grass that juts out into the bay. Most resorts have Massages and there are other place...

Re:I chose
We found that transfers booked in advance all ran about $30 per person. So it was cheaper to just get a taxi at the airport then you also do not have to waste time stopping at other resorts on the way to yours making it faster. We booked a City tour through this sight that was very good and if you d...

Re:Crown Paridise
It means that you can use all facities at the resort, eat at any of the resturants, go to all the bars that they have. In other words no restrictions are placed on what you can use. Just a suggestion if there is only you and your wife going (no children) you might want to consider the Golden Crown P...

Re:GCP June 3 - 10
Epilogue... Friday was our last day. We got up early and went down to the beach and played about in the ocean for awhile. Then headed to the hot tub and pool for one last dip. Then it was off to meet the rest of the gang for breakfast. After a bit of breakfast it was time for the good-byes (always a...

Great trip report! It makes me want to head right back - and I have only been home for two weeks. PV is a great place and I agree that the people are wonderful. I guess that you and I are now facing what everyone here has been talking about the dreaded PV addiction. It does get to you - doesn't it?
