Re:Montezuma's Revenge
Not a problem. We have taken our son to Cabo when he was 2, and Puerto Vallarta when he was 2 1/2. Both times he was fine! I do carry Childrens Mylanta with us. If you can't find it on the shelves at Walgreens, ask the pharmacist. They sometimes carry it back behind the counter if there isn't space ...

Re:Agony Aunt Bill where are you??
I guess we like to live life on the edge. For us midwesterners I guess this is pretty wacky!! Double boarding!! Yikes!
Actually, I am quite the information geek, and like to see what everyone has to say, and to throw my 2 pesos in wherever I can. You are very quick to notice grasshopper.....

According to the link that is on the front of this website....looks like Holiday Inn will open in early December. You will probably be fine, but I would keep an eye on pvmirror.com and the message boards.....

Re:Sheraton Bungavillas
Check out their website.. www.buganviliasclub.com or go to www.pvmirror.com there are more sites, but those are good starters.. Sheraton will not be open til January 5, and I think that is pushing it. The Malecon is in better shape than it was a week ago, and the shops and restaurants are open...You...

Re:Restaurants in and near Nuevo Vallarta
Good question...
We are staying in Nuevo for the first time, we plan on taking the bus downtown to eat, I am not aware of places in Nuevo...there are so many AI hotels. I'll keep watching this, though, because I am curious too.....

Re:Restuarants to Eat At
There is a pizza place right across the street from the Mayan Palace, good take out - (Mayan Palace is next door to you). There is a fajita place in the Marina, but the Fajita Republic downtown is better and cheaper, it is worth the trip. Plus Cafe D'Olla, La Dolce Vita, Dacquiri Dicks, Cuetes y Cue...

I am curious too, our group was to stay at the Sheraton and that is closed now. We got split up, half going to Occidental Allegro and half to Sierra next door. Both look wonderful, and will be interesting because we have never done AI before....will post after we return...on Nov 30.

Sheraton
HI all... Seems like everytime I get on here lately it is about the Sheraton and what is next?? Well, they are closed til January!! They must have really taken a direct hit! I am so sad, it is a beautiful resort. Needless to say, we had to cancel and now have tickets to arrive and nowhere to stay......

Sheraton???
I might as well add my own post here for the Sheraton. Agony Aunt Bill says things don't look good for Sheraton, took a bigger hit than other hotels. Does anyone have any more information other than that??? Crossing my fingers that it wasn't too bad for them, it was so close to so many houses and li...

Re:Agony Aunt Bill where are you
Gee, hated to hear that about the Sheraton.... I guess I'll have to try to keep posted on things as the weeks go on, we won't be there until Nov 23 so we have some time. I'm not cancelling, but if we need to rebook our condo, I will need to work on that soon.... I just keep thinking of the little ho...

Re:Agony Aunt Bill where are you
Thanks Cpt Jack!! Glad to hear that everyone is getting out and about, a relief that everyone is well. It is all so sad.....but you are right, things will recover - and quickly I am sure! I do hope there will be some effort to try and replace the statues in the years to come. Thanks for the updates,...

Hoping you will be able to log on soon enough, hoping that you made it through with no major damage, good thing you brought in the patio furniture, huh??? I am seeing quite a few posts on the todo page, sounds as though Cuertes y Cuentes may not be there when we get there in Nov....and I am crushed ...

Re:searching for fish on a stick
Daquiri Dicks! If you are in the mood for a nicer sit down type fish on a stick....still on Los Muertos of course!
They have a Red Snapper on a stick, totally awesome. The whole entire fish, propped on a stick, grilled just right.

Re:Sheraton vs. Allegro
Tough one, I have never stayed at Allegro, don't know where it is either. We have stayed at Sheraton once, and are going again in November. Stayed at Mayan Palace once too...ugh. Didn't like that one too much. We really like the Sheraton due to it's proximity to town, can walk if you want. I saw the...
