wonderful vacation
Hi all, we are back from our WAY TOO SHORT vacation. Yes, we own at Rancho and have been going back every year for the past 4 years. Your teenage sons should have a blast. You are kind of "secluded" (no big stores, shopping, entertainment, etc.) but that is why we enjoy it so much, get away from the...

If you are looking for night life than this is not the place for you. We really enjoy the pools (and the water slides too!). The rooms are very ni...

Northern Lights, We stay about 15 miles north of PV. We make it into town a couple days of our vacation but spend most of our time relaxing on the beach or in the pool. We enjoy the serenity of the area and the beaches are rarely crowded, especially this time of year. Cant wait, its getting close. :...

Thanks Jennybean, I knew someone would know the actual history. As I stated before, I still consider myself a PV newbie, just for this reason. I was not concerned about the weather as I've never heard of another hurricane besides Kenna. Cant wait to be back in paradise no matter what the weather! :l...

Ashley, Have a great vacation. Just as a previously mentioned, be aware of your surroundings. You will have the time of your life~unless of course you don't leave your hotel  I have never felt safer anywhere than I do in PV. I live in a very small town (approx 500 people). I feel safe here, but...

So far during the past week or so, we have tracked 3 different tropical storms/hurricanes (Bud, Carlotta and now Daniel). None of them have come too close to land and ...
