Re:holiday inn beach
Brian, Were they still moving the rocks & boulders around when you were there? We were there in early February and there was an earthmover and dump trucks going in and out everyday except Sunday. It made the oceanside chairs unappealling. When they weren't there it was very nice. Also, is the area w...

Re:Massages
Hotel Molina De Aqua has a massage cabana. 300 pesos for an hour and fifteen minute massage. My wife and I did it when we were there a few weeks ago. Had his and her messeuses. It was very nice. Highly recommened.

FYI: For all the good airfare deals and much more check out www.flyertalk.com. It's really a frequent flier website but it is also the first place ridiculously low airfare glitches show up ($20 RT to Europe, etc). You have to act fast with these pricing errors.

Trip Report 1/30-2/3
My wife and I went to PV last weekend and had a wonderful time. This was our first time there. We are in our early 30's and it seemed like everyone there was our parents age (or older) but we still met some great people and had a fantastic vacation. We stayed at the Holiday Inn. I typed a lengthly r...

Holiday Inn - Just Got Back, Review & Update.
My wife and I just got back from 4 nights at the Holiday Inn. First timers to PV, both in our early 30's. 1. Everything is up and running except the beach. Everyday of our trip except Sunday there was an earth mover and dump trucks working right in front of the oceanfront chairs. They are diligently...

Holiday Inn - Best Room #'s and how to get them?
First off, thanks for all the great advice so far. My wife and I are heading down to PV next week for the first time and staying at the Holiday Inn for 4 nights. We got a great hotel only deal through aeromexico.com ($440 total for both of us 4 nights all inclusive) but the room category is "Run of ...

Holiday Inn - All Inclusive Food/Beverage???
How are the drinks at the Holiday Inn for all inclusive? I read that they serve drinks in styrofoam cups (coffe cups)? Is there any glass poolside? Is it draft beer? What size is the average AI drink (say pina colada)? Does it include room service? Can we take the drinks back to our room? Trying to ...

Re:Holiday Inn
aeromexico.com is giving a price of $238 for Jan 30 through Feb 3, including tax. $448 all inclusive. Both prices are incredibly cheap compared to the other hotels for those dates. I'm thinking of doing the AI just because it's so reasonable but I doubt I will spend $210 in food and liquor at the ho...

Re:Casa Amorita or Hotel Tropicana?
Thanks for all the input! The Tropicana is quoting us a price of $392 for 4 nights in a superior ocean view room (new building) including tax. This will be during the high season so I don't expect any great deals. A suite at Molina De Aqua is $544. I figure the difference in cost can be used for a n...

Casa Amorita or Hotel Tropicana?
My wife and I are heading down to PV this January. This will be our first time. We are going for 5 days, Thursday Jan 30 through Monday Feb 3. We are on a budget and I'm trying to decide between Casa Amorita and Hotel Tropicana, both have quoted me just under $400 for 4 nights. Casa Amorita includes...
