I had problems setting up our account - same issue - being from Canada. I called them and they were very helpful in setting us up our account over the phone. Now I am able to just go on-line and add the minutes. So far so good - the truth will be told when we actually arrive back in PV and see if th...

Finally got around to dealing with this! We used prepaid wireless. com. Des did a little research and they seem like a "safe" place to deal with. I did have trouble registering on line and finally had to call their supoprt desk. The girl I dealt with was wonderful and got me set up rather quickly. I...

We are staying in condos in Punta Negra. We stayed there last year and absolutely loved it! it is about an 80 peso cab ride toward Mismaloya - or a 10 minute bus ride. We were unsure about staying out there but had the best time - and still spent lots of time in town too. PM me and I can give you so...

The guy at the Telcel store where we bought it - (Roberto - on Insurgentes) said it was possible to do this. I have managed to find a website - but of course it's in spanish and I can't read it! I work with a girl who speaks Spanish and I'll keep you posted if we figure it out. It certainly would be...

You'll see lots of what you'll see in PV at the markets. We've found in the last two years that we've been able to negotiate lower prices than we could in PV. We certainly didn't have a problem getting a room for one night at a decent rate. Last year we also wandered over to Guyabitos ($3 cab ride) ...

It's about 45 minute to an hour on the bus - the greyhound type. We've gone twice now - actually have gone out on Wed. and spent the night (last year got a deal for a 2 bedroom suite at $40) take in the market and back to PV loaded with goodies by early afternoon. If I can find this girls' card for ...

There is a shop in La Penita that makes those types of hammocks. I might have the name somewhere - I'll search around and see if I can find it. But - it's close to the Don Jose hotel and the restaurant/bar "Hymie's and Jamies" (I know I have that wrong!) Checking out the market in La Penita is quite...

Hi Joyce! They are literaly right beside each other. Last year we spent a night before the market and had a very short cab ride down the road to have dinner. Kim stayed there and she used to walk back and forth between the two. We're thinking that we will spend a night there this trip too and then g...

Hi Chris! We stayed in a junior suite at the Trop 2 years ago. Small kitchen but very functional and spacious living area. Two beds and a decent bathroom. Can't beat the view - right on the beach and a huge balcony. The pool area is also very nice. All in all we really liked it there. The only issue...

Takos Pancho (I might be off on the spelling! - it's just off Olas Altas on Basillo Badillia (again - spelling?) . Tiny spot with tables inside and one or two out on the sidewalk. it's next door to Cafe D'Olla. (That spelling doesn't look right either! - must be the minus 46 wind chill this morning ...
