If you want to pay an arm, and a leg.... take a cab. Or, you could walk out of the airport, and pay 6 1/2 pesos and take the bus. The bus driver can tell you when Hola Vallarta is close or, you can simply watch on the right for the sign on the building. It's straight down the street from the airport.

Ann .... if you are referring to 'Las Margaritas', it's been gone for several years now. We dined there last in Nov/Dec '07 - then it was gone and the location empty when we returned the next spring. And the location was still empty when we were in town this past May. It's a great location, and Las...

Yes ground floor on Basilio Badillo is second only to the Malecon or Olas Altas for good exposure. It will be nice to see that location open again. Now if we can just get a new operator for Robertos old location... Is Robertos still operating across the street from their former location or, has tha...

It is supposed to be a high end hotel & spa. All work stopped last year around April. The old Casa Kimberly has been torn down. All that remains is the bridge. Geez, that's too bad. Whether people were a fan of Liz's or not, it did have significant historical value to PV. I guess it's easier, and c...

Cafe Olla is a tex mex and fills the void if you're hungry. Fine dining it is not but, many folks aren't interested in that. I've eaten there a number of times, and have had no complaints. I remember when it originally was a tiny pie place and was the size the kitchen ('88 as that's the first year I...

We have friends from New Jersey who are staying there right now. They have not reported any problems at all. Harv had a headache but Merna was totally healthy for their whole 3 weeks. There's a seasonal flu plague that's spreading around work which involves severe headaches, earaches, sinuses, etc....

Re: Builder/Contractor in PV
I am looking to interview builders/contractors for a remodel in Conchas Chinas. Does anyone have a personal recommendation? I am looking for quality work, dependability, & someone who comes in at the original cost estimate. ALRIGHT DON"T LAUGH!!! Thank you. I've got a guy who does excellent work an...

we stayed at posada de roger but only for 1 night. the second floor rooms were brighter than the courtyard rooms. staff was friendly and helpful. rooms were basic, clean, not much in the way of nice towels. one thing that i thought was a little off was that the shower curtains in both our room and ...

I definitely wouldn't have it mailed. I don't know how many letters and packages I've mailed from Canada to Mexico which have never reached their destination. Personally, (and I work for a bank in Canada), I'd keep things as simple as possible. If you can direct deposit your pension cheque to your a...
