Are you thinking Tony's (Tony's La Choza)? It is in the town of Mismaloya and a short walk up the hill. The restaurant is on three levels and all the floors are sand and dining is usually on the top level. If this isn't the place, I highly recommend a trip there -- especially over happy hour. Great...

I checked out Felipe's don't think its that one. It wasn't a fancy place , we were told Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor use to frequent the restaurant. we will see if we can get a taxi driver who knows about it , maybe its no longer there. A taxi driver took us to a restaurant way up this narrow road in Down Town Peurto Vallarta where you could watch the sun set it was just great out of the beaten tracks ,,can't remeber the name of this place.
