best online price guarantee from Melia?
Has anyone booked through Melia and then used their 'best online price guarantee'?
I have found a much lower price on Apple Vacations for all available rooms but Melia says they offer 10% off the lowest rate- has anyone had any experience with this?

day passes for Melia, Crown and other resorts?
I was reading through posts and saw that someone mentioned day passes- do they offer those for the AI resorts like Meila and/or Crown just for using the facilities?

Oh and one more question...
Is it worth it to contact hotel directly to ask about them matching prices online or should I just book with Expedia/Cheap Carribean type service if the rates are lower than on the hotel websites? And it seems you're both of the opinion there's no use asking to upgrade once you get there, better to ...
