New Years Eve 2008
Any suggestions for a first timer (New Years Eve in Vallarta)
I am leaning towards either Vista Grille at Midnight or some place down town earlier in the evening and just winging it!??
any suggestions?- I am not finding much info online.
Thanks in advance!

I'm almost embarrassed to say (almost) that we now own 3 weeks of Float time in PDS. It was too cheap not to buy them (ebay)...

IS it quiet in here? Is PV Quiet?
We have wondered if it may be slow in PV this Winter. I have not been in the forum since last year, and it seems a lot slower in here than I recall last year leading up to Jan 1st (we went last year about the same time as we are planning to go this year..even though we have considered not going...ev...

Staff at the Fiesta Americana said they were running 25-30% occupancy and the only thing keeping the doors open was 3-day conventions every couple of weeks. At the Bancomer PCU presentation, we sat with a rep from Lemmus RE sales who said new sales were down over a third from 2007. so maybe :?: a g...

Seviche/Ceviche recipes Ideas
This was a great discovery for us while in Vallarta last month.
We really enjoyed it, anyone have any ideas or recipes? I know I can look on google but curious if any of you have any idea's or suggestions or recipes.

Dear Glacier Roaster I would agree with you if we arrived unannounced, but we did call ahead and make a reservation. The least we were entitled to was a "I'm sorry you had to wait." Therer are too many good restaurants in PVR that treat customers as customers. I understand...and would probably say ...

We tried the Vista a few trips ago, they made us cool our heals for about twenty minutes (we had a reservation) then seated us at a table that had been empty during the same time period. Haven't been back there since. FYI, I'm sure otehrs can attest tot his. Many restaraunts make it a point to not ...

We had a nice brunch in town and then hopped the bus to Boca de Tomatlan. Went down towards the beach, stopped at the first place and got a palapa right on the beach and pulled out the cribbage board, ordered a round of Negro Modello's and next thing you know it was almost dark. 8) Lots of locals, e...

very relaxed. Nice pair of Golf shorts and a nice collared shirt with a pair of leather type sandles seemed to be the norm but there were people that were more dressed up. It's a very casual place- make sure you go out one night down to Marks place (1/4 mile walk ont he same street) it is wonderful....

Re: Service
Just an FYI before you use that link glacierroasters shared, Johann and Sandra sold their tour company to another party and it is no longer them running anything. So far the new ownership isn't getting good reviews for their service around the 'net. Just thought I should share that before you book ...
