Just returned from PV, and we had to try the new El Dorado/Boca Bento. I was sad to see that the old waiters are gone. Willy from Italy waited on us; he was extremely nice and efficient, and very interesting to look at, with his multiple piercings and tatoos! They no longer charge you to sit under a...

I can only comment on the canopy zip line tour and have only been on the Los Veranos tour and also to Chico's Paradise zip line. We really enjoyed the Los Veranos canopy tour. If you search around, you will find more information about the pirate ships tour and possibly about the other specific boat ...

You might do well at Barcelona Tapas. All of the dishes are served on small plates, meant to be shared, but that means you can try lots of different foods without breaking the budget. They have a website so you can see the menu. They serve 2 wonderful breads complimentary, with olive oil for dipping...

check out www.casaguacamole.com This place is amazing!!! We will be staying there in June 2010. I checked it out last summer when I was there. Walking distance to everything in town. Get your daily workout walking up to the house. I recently researched properties in the Amapas and Conchas Chinas are...

I was just wanting to compare prices. We stayed at a really cute little condo just a few blocks south of the San Marino. This building is on Amapas Street just past the Tropicana Hotel. I highly recommend it, especially for the price. So close to all the activity, but quiet at night. I could hear th...

Helen, you are hilarious!! Thanks for your honesty. I have been wanting to try Amapas Sunset and Marazul, and now they are on my list for my upcoming trip in March. When eating lunch on the Malecon, we have always been satisfied with the food, drinks, prices, and view at the Cheeky Monkey. I have he...

Wow!!! Thanks for all the fantastic information!! Since you did not make it to Hacienda San Angel, you'll just have to go back to PV soon!! Probably will be better when it's not raining! I'm definitely going to check out No Way Jose and La Hacienda. I love trying new restaurants. Thank you for inclu...

There are many beaches from which to choose, but if you want to get a true taste of Puerto Vallarta, you should go to Los Muertos Beach in Old Town, the Romantic Zone, south of the Rio Cuale. Pick a palapa with some chairs under it, and a waiter will serve you bevvies and food while you watch the wa...

Would look on -www.vrbo.com
A home in Gringo Gulch (10 min walk to Basilio Badillo) is -www.casaguacamole.com really nice and I think well priced considering that you are splitting between 8 people. This home is not for 10 people, only 8.

I love you, oneistwo!!! Cazadores reminds me of Mexico. We have it at home, here in Portland, Oregon, and when we make a good margarita to drink on the deck in the summer, on the rocks (of course), we take a sip, sit back, and say "Aaaaaahhhhhh, wish I was in PV." A restaurant manager admitted to me...

Calling your tequila can be expensive, so you might want to ask the "normal" price of a margarita and then the new price when you want Cazadores (or whatever) in your drink. Proabably you'll spoil yourself and never be able to go back to the cheap margaritas!!! What kills me is when people order som...

LOL!! Leis and whistles, I can see it now........ Good idea of "what you buy in PV" night. There are some really cute shops there, but I don't have enough patience to shop and esp to try stuff on when I could be lying on the beach, dancing, or eating!! Make sure to check out Cheeky Monkey; I love th...

That reminds me about your theme night. I did not come up with other ideas, but as soon as I told my 17 yo daughter about your animal print idea, she said, "Yeah, Jungle Fever Night!!!" That would be a good one, but it sounds like you're going with the Hawaiian theme---- "Aloha Spirit Night" Be sure...

There is a website and you can send them an email directly and ask. http://www.tequilasieteleguas.com.mx/english/home.html Looks like it has been around for a long time, so you should be able to find it in PV. Have a great trip. I'm sooooo jealous!! Don't forget to ask for the fashion show at Olla. ...
