The weather in January is great, humidity is low and the days are In the low 80's. Nights can get chilly, depending on what you are used to at home, usually in the low 60's in the middle of the night. I say depending on what you are used to because I often times see the locals during the day in long...

I pretty much ignore the ads at the top of the page, I realize they help fund this board. BUT......I agree the SPAM has gotten out of control. It is at a level that is beyond Chuck sitting here all day to monitor it, I know he has other things to do besides trying to keep the spammers off the board....

If you are going to sound the alarm you have to give all the facts. These incidents have NOT been reported to the police, so it is hard for them to have a presence in the area. The expats know this is going on in the area and they continue to walk into those neighborhoods "alone" late at night. One ...

I think a large majority of people post on TripAdvisor and when people ask questions that need referral to other PV sites, this site is never mentioned. That could be because some of the "Destination experts" on TA have been kicked off of this site and/or have their own websites, and while TA rules ...

The weather in June is just starting to heat up. Humidity is going up but not that unbearable. June is also the start of the rainy season so you may get a little rain in the afternoon/evening. I love PV in June. I believe Samba Vallarta is actually in Nuevo Vallarta, right? It is a good 45 minutes t...

Cafe Roma is great. Mariscos Tino's on the Malecon is great for seafood. El Brujo, Encanto, Margaritaville, Cafe Bohemio (all on the southside). If you want to take a couple of trips out of the area to eat.....Ochos Tostadas in either the Marina or Across from Canto del Sol Resort, great local place...

No, the time will pass fast, not that far away. I asked because some restaurants, etc. close during summer for vacation or remodeling, etc. Everything will be in full force when you are there. So what kind of food do you like? There are a ton of suggestions but we might as well make them for things ...

Cgroves17 For a really different experience try Tony's La Choza Restaurant in Mismaloya Village. It is another one of my must go to restaurants every trip. You will need to catch a taxi and tell the driver you want to go to Tony's La Choza in Mismaloya Village. Someone did a video of the restaurant ...
