Either way, 8AM 3 days or 7 days a week should not be a problem as long as we aren't kept awake all night by the nightlife.

Thanks katnsocal, We usually take our trips mid to late March. The shows at night won't be a problem, we will probably be watching. We are by no means nighthawks but 11:00 is bearable. 8am is sleeping in most days. If it is the same show when we were there last in front of Roberto's Shop isn't every...

Malecon
I have heard that the Malecon is closed to vehicle traffic. Is this fact? When I was there last they closed it on Friday nights and had a big street party with live music and entertainment.

Andale
I noticed Andale has changed up their menu. I loved sitting in the sidewalk section enjoying my Huevos Rancheros watching the early morning deliveries and shops setting up for the day. I look forward to doing that again next year when we return to PV. Is Andale's still a "Happening" place during the...

We had a "Real Mexico" experience a few years back down in Mismaloya. My wife and I traveled to PV with another couple. This was their 1st time in Puerto Vallarta. We took the bus down to Mismaloya for the day so we could show them Los Arcos and the set for Night of the Iguana etc. We found ourselve...

Si Senor/Blue Shrimp
Blue Shrimp is always a must when we are in PV. Now the old "Oasis" on Playa Los Muertos is Si Senor. Is this a second Blue Shrimp Restaurant or have they moved and renamed? We always stay in Old Town so it is easier to get to there, but only if it's the same. Can anyone comment on this, please and ...

***Bump Up***
Just wanted to move this post up. I have mobility problems now and may want to rent a wheelchair to make it easier to explore. Is Pam still available to contact? I remember most side streets aren't very wheelchair friendly but we'd probably stick to the new and improved walkways ie. the Malecon etc....

Hotel Eloisa
We are planing a return to PV after 5 years. We looked at the Eloisa in Old Town and really want to stay in the area. The concern I have is the night life noise from the clubs. Can anyone who has stayed there let me know if there is a problem with the noise?
Thanks,
Ian

Re:Travel Documentation
I am afraid you are misinformed about cashing traveler's checks. All you need is ID with your picture and signature... a Driver's License. We don't use passports, never have needed them and have never had a problem. If the law changes and a passport is mandatory, then by all means, there isn't a cho...

Re:Travel Documentation
I would just like to add my two cents.
If you don't plan to travel frequently, it may not be worth the expense.
There is no "requirement" for a passport for Canadian or US Citizens travelling to Mexico.
